Two people were transported after a crash in Barry Township on Saturday afternoon.
Around 4:00pm, Saturday afternoon, emergency personnel were called to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Sunbury Road(Route 901) and Taylorsville Road.
Emergency personnel from Lavelle, Fountain Springs, Gordon, and Ashland responded to the scene with Washington Ambulance transported two victims to the hospital.
The crash involved a Saturn colliding with a Chevrolet Silverado.
Both vehicles sustained heavy damage with the truck involved shearing a utility pole.
No details were available at the time of this posting but the Pennsylvania State Police from Schuylkill Haven were at the scene investigating. We will post more information when it becomes available.
