Pennsylvania Lottery Awards Largest Online Prize Of $4 Million
The Pennsylvania Lottery has awarded its largest online prize ever to a player from Luzerne County.
Mega Millions® awarded an online player $4 million, a prize that was won on Tuesday, January 18.
The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 4-19-39-42-52, but not the yellow Mega Ball, 9, to win the $4 million prize, less applicable withholding. It was sold with the $1 Megaplier® option, which boosted the prize to $4 million instead of $1 million, because the multiplier drawn was four.
There was no jackpot-winning ticket sold for the January 18 Mega Millions® drawing, which boosted the jackpot to a $376 million annuity value, or $256.4 million cash. The next Mega Millions® drawing will be held Friday, January 21.
