An investigation is underway after a body was found along Route 924 near Shenandoah early Saturday morning.
The body was found around 5:00am, on the bridge just south of Shenandoah on Route 924 near the Friendly's Food Mart AKA former Valero.
State Police arrived on scene and Shenandoah fire was dispatched to close the roadway around 5:30am along with the Schuylkill County Coroner's Office.
Shenandoah Fire Police cleared the scene around 7:00am.
