Richard C. Stager, 73, of Fiddlers Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at home.Born on September 30, 1948 in Pine Grove, he was a son of the late Lloyd Richard Stager and Thelma Brown Stager.
Richard was a 1966 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School and was of the Lutheran Faith.
He was an Air Force Veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era.
Richard was a Supervisor at Penn Dye for 26 years and a Corrections Officer at SCI Frackville for 18 years.
He was a member of the Pine Grove VFW Post 3432, H. H. & L. Fire Co. #1, Pine Grove, and a member of the Knights of the Round Table coffee club. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed watching them grow and play sports. He cherished his corvette, enjoyed attending car shows and collecting trophies. He was an avid softball player and coach until recently and was a Minnesota Vikings fan. "Pap" enjoyed spending time with Jasper and checking in on Manson and Quinn.
Preceding him in death was a sister Anna Mae Stager.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Peggy Wenrich Stager; two daughters, Tricia and husband James Heffron, Tiffani Tobin and partner Rob Cook, both of Minersville; a son Jeremy Stager and fiancé Amy Heck of Pine Grove; 8 grandchildren, Jarrod, Jameson and Aly Heffron, Luke and Collin Tobin, Lyla and Terra Stager, and Quade Perkins; three brothers, Ronald and wife Joanne Stager of Lewistown, Leon and wife Barb Stager, Lloyd K. Stager, both of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews and his faithful companion Jasper.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 8:00 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Claude Schach officiating. There will be a viewing on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 in his memory.

Susan M. Cook, 74, of Pottsville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday afternoon at Lehigh Valley Hospital -Schuylkill East Norwegian St.
Born in Pottsville, on November 13, 1947, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Agatha Martha (Aukstakalnis) Cook.
She was a 1965 graduate of Nativity BVM High School and Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing.
Susan was a member of St. John the Baptist R.C.C., Pottsville.
She worked as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for over 30 years at several local hospitals, retiring from Schuylkill East Norwegian Street.
Susan enjoyed spending time with her dogs and parrot.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Andrew, Murton, and Joseph and sister, Frances.
Susan is also survived by two brothers, John A. Cook, of Pottsville and Edmund Cook, of New York; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 20th, at 11:00 a.m. at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Philadelphia.

Born in Salt Lake City, UT, August 15, 1957, She was a daughter of the late Alfredas and Maryte Krisiukenas.
She was a member of Community Mission, Minersville, and had worked as a Head Start Teacher
Surviving are her husband of 36 years Pastor Robert J. Alonge; a daughter, Alicia Rutkauskas and her husband Steven of Rockland, MA; son Jesse Alonge of Shenandoah; sister Lora Knight and her husband John of Milton, MA; brother Andrew Krisiukenas of Weymouth, MA; granddaughters Lilly Rutkauskas; Layla Rutkauskas; Ludamila Rutkauskas. Sister-in-law Patti Alonge; Nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday from Community Mission, 336 N. Front St. Minersville, PA 17954 with her husband Pastor Robert J. Alonge officiating. In Lieu of flower contributions can be made to Community Mission at the above address.

Harold Clarence Ebling, age 91, of Pottsville, PA passed away Friday, January 14th, 2022 at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital in Orwigsburg.
Born in Pottsville, PA on November 2, 1930, he was the son of the late William and Flora (Miller) Ebling.
Harold was a graduate of Pottsville High School, Class of 1951. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1952 till 1954. He was the owner and operator of H. M. Ebling Glass in Pottsville and was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson Nicholas Ebling, four brothers: Joseph, Irvin, William, and Raymond Ebling and three sisters: Dorthea Snyder, Betty Mullins,and Joyce Ebling.
Harold is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Elizabeth (Konkus) Ebling, Pottsville; a daughter Mary Landry, Texas; four sons: Harold Ebling and his wife Lisa, Mt. Carbon, Zachary Ebling, Pottsville, Matthew Ebling and his wife Tracey, Wernersville, and Keith Ebling and his wife Kristin, Schuylkill Haven; five grandsons: Christopher, Harold, Russie, Nathan, and Lucas; a step-granddaughter Bobbie Lynn; fifteen great-grandchildren; a sister Joyce Ebling, Pottsville; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven on Wednesday January 19th at 10:30AM, with Msgr Edward Zemanik officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday morning from 9-10:30AM at the St. Ambrose Church.
Interment with Military Honors Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery Pottsville, PA.
