Robert G. Pauzer
, 82, Pottsville entered into eternal rest Monday, January 10 at Lehigh Valley Medical Center- East.

Born May 24, 1938, in St. Clair, he was the son of the late George and Stella (Folta) Pauzer.

He was a 1957 graduate of the former St. Clair High School and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. He proudly served his country in the Unites States Air Force from 1957 to 1961.

Bob was retired from Providence Place of Pottsville where he worked as the Director of Transportation from 1995 to 2012. He also worked as an activity aide at the facility from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters Georgine Shappell, Patricia Pauzer and Gloria Pauzer.

Bob will be forever missed by his wife of 56 years, Nancy L. (Walters) Pauzer, Pottsville; nieces Tina Walters, Aimee Eckley, Pam Sleva, and Jennifer Davalos; nephews John, James, Joseph, Charles, and Gerald Shappell; a brother William Pauzer, Pottsville; and his furry feline Gabby.

Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, January 18 at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville with Pastor Chris Rotharpt, Officiating. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 9AM until the time of service. Interment will be in the Memorial Gardens of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.

The family would prefer contributions to the Ruth Steinert SPCA 17 Wertz Drive Pine Grove PA 17963 or Trinity Lutheran Church 300 West Arch Street Pottsville PA 17901 in memory of Bob.

Patricia M. Connors
, 74, of Pottsville, passed away on Monday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born in Pottsville, on September 12, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Frank E. and Anne L. (Pflueger) Day.

She was a a graduate of Nativity BVM High School and member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.

Pat was employed in the Radiology Department at Pottsville Hospital and Warren Clinic for 31 years, retiring in 2011.

She enjoyed cruising, playing bingo and going to the casinos , but most of all, spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by step-sons: Clifford and Joel Connors; a grandson, John "JJ" ; and sister, Katherine Lash.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Clair C. "Pete" Connors, to whom she was married 31 years; two daughters, Lisa A. Novack, wife of Joseph M. , of Pottsville; Nicole Leibel, wife of Edward of Pottsville;
a son, Bernard Bieski, husband of Barbara, of Lake Ariel; two step daughters: Peterine Wojcik, wife of Jack, of Pottsville; Clarice Connors, of Schuylkill Haven. two step sons: Terry Connors, husband of Beth , of Orwigsburg; Rodney Connors , husband of Colleen , of Schuylkill Haven; 19 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Ann (Day)Timbers, of Manassas, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 15th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville.

A viewing will held on Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville and Saturday morning in the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. - until the procession will leave for church.

The family request contributions be made in Pat's memory to her favorite charity: St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.

Lord-Bixler Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.

Rebecca Jo Boulhanna
, 60, of Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at home.

Born on March 7, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Humphrey and Roxie Lewis Miller.

She attended Pine Grove Area High School and was a member of the Pine Grove Wesleyan Church.

Preceding her in death were a sister, Barbara Tranquillo and a brother, Timothy Humphrey.

Surviving are two son, Karl Kimmel of Cressona and Kyle Humphrey of Pine Grove; a daughter, Ila Boulhanna of Reading; a granddaughter Elianna Humphrey; a sister, Patricia Kay Yoder of Reinholds; two step brothers, Cory Lewis and Corby Lewis, both of Pine Grove.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 2:30 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating. There will be a visitation on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Manbeck's Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in her memory.

Richard John Markish
, 48, of Frackville, formerly of Schuylkill Haven, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born in Pottsville, March 17, 1973, he was a son of Joanne Burk, of Bear, Del., and the late Richard Markish.

He was a 1991 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School.

Rich worked as an auto body technician at Bob Weaver Auto, Pottsville. He was an avid pool shooter, playing in various leagues in Schuylkill County. He was a former member of the Pottsville Lions and a key organizer of the Great Pottsville Cruise.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife of 16 years, Rosann (Zelinsky) Markish; two sisters, Tina Wilson, of Wilmington, Del., Kelly Markish, of Phoenixville; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; his beloved cats.

Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 N. Second St., Saint Clair, PA 17970, with Deacon John Setlock officiating. Friends may call from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.

John W. “Jack” Mogish, 70, of Klingerstown, died Saturday Jan. 8, 2022, at his residence.

Born in Shenandoah Heights, on Sept. 11, 1951, he was a son of the late John and Madelene (Flaim) Mogish.

Jack was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He was also a welder at Dana Parrish Steel. He retired from MI Window and Door, Hegins. There wasn’t anything Jack couldn’t fix. He was a jack of all trades.

He was a member of St. Michael Orthodox Church, Saint Clair, and a member of their Citizens Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Mogish, and his wife, Florence; and a sister, Letticia Klitsch.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Helen (Strenkowski) Mogish; two sons, John J. “Jake” Mogish, of Ashland, and James Mogish, of Klingerstown; daughter, Juliann Mogish, of Klingerstown; grandchildren, Jaclyn Mogish, John M. Mogish, both of Ashland; brother, David Mogish and his wife, Treva, of Arkansas; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, from St. Michael Orthodox Church, 109 North Nichols Street, Saint Clair, PA 17970. The Rev. Jeff Zias will be officiating. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, Saint Clair. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Michael Orthodox Memorial Fund. Burial will be in Holy Ascension Orthodox Cemetery, Frackville.

Thomas D. Colna
, age 60, of St. Clair, PA passed away Monday, January 10th, 2022 at Pottsville Rehab and Nursing Center.

Born in Pottsville, PA on July 23, 1961, he was the son of the late John and Stasia T. (Burda) Colna.

Tom was a graduate of Saint Clair High School, Class of 1979. He worked as a Truck Mechanic for Reading Anthracite.

Tom is survived by his daughter Sarah Petrozino; grandson Benson Lichvar; sisters: Rita Schwalmlein (Jack) Irene Laudeman (Robert) and Andrea Kimmel (Kim); brother John Colna (Patricia); and nieces and nephews.

A Religious Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon at 12pm on Monday, January 17th, with Msgr. William Glosser officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Monday from 10am-12pm at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in St. Clair.

Paul Daniel Warner III
, 48, of Beebe, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

Born January 15, 1973, in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the son of, Paul Warner, Jr. and Rose (McCarroll) Warner of Andreas, Pennsylvania.

Paul was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman. He loved Notre Dame and the Dallas Cowboys. Paul greatly enjoyed telling jokes, working on projects with loved ones, and spending time with his grandchildren. Paul was a 1991 graduate of Marian Catholic High School. He worked for the Federal Government as an I.T. specialist with the FDA.

He is survived by; three sons, Paul Warner IV (Destiny) of Ward, Alex Warner (Brittany) of Springdale, Karter Warner (Kodie Lievsay) of Brusly, Louisiana; one daughter, Heather Risavy (Tyrek Palmer) of Beebe; five grandchildren, Kayden Risavy of Beebe, Isaiah Palmer of Beebe, Charlee Warner of Ward, Natalia Palmer of Beebe, and Paul Warner V of Ward; brother Michael Warner (Tonya) of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania; sister Amy Miller (J.R.), of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania; Paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Warner. Numerous, uncles, aunts, and cousins also survive Paul.

A Celebration of Paul's Life will be held on Sunday January 16, 2022 from 2 to 6:00 P.M. at the West Penn Rod & Gun Club 1047 Clamtown Road Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252. A Basket Raffle will be held to raise funds in honor of Paul to assist families affected by suicide.

Anna Chabon, 76, of Gilberton, passed away on Sunday, January 9th, 2022, at the Shenandoah Senior Living Community.

Born in Ashland, Pa on November 4th, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Metro and Margaret (Sanayka) Chabon.

Anna was a 1963 graduate of Mahanoy Area. She worked many years as a phlebotomist for the Pottsville Hospital, the Laurelton Center, and Geisinger Medical Center. She was a faithful parishioner of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Maizeville where you would find her participating in many functions and fundraisers over the years. Anna was very skilled at decorating pisanki easter eggs. She was an avid Penn State fan and enjoyed going to Ocean City, Maryland to visit the beach.

She leaves behind a brother Ted Chabon with his wife Agatha – Dorrance, a sister, Eleanor Chabon with whom she lived – Gilberton. Also surviving are a niece, Stacy Chabon and a nephew, Ted Chabon Jr. – both of Quakertown.

A visitation will take place on Monday, January 17th from 9 to 10am in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church – Maizeville. Liturgy will follow at 10am and will be celebrated by Fr. Petro Zvarych. Burial will immediately follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Frackville.

Raymond F O’Boyle Sr
, 87, of Minersville, passed away Monday, January 10th, 2022 at his home. 

Born in Jonestown, Cass Township, February 6th, 1934. He was the son of the late William J O’Boyle and Loretta (Purcell) O’Boyle. He graduated from Pottsville Catholic High School and worked in the construction industry until his retirement. He was involved as a coach in Little League and was a life time member of the Independent Hose Company. He was a former member of the Minersville Rotary and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and loved his Phillies! He was an avid reader and loved sitting on the porch socializing with his neighbors. 

He loved his family and loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son William “Billy” in 1967 as well as his sisters Elizabeth and Winifred and his brothers, William, Gervace and Lawrence. 

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and devoted wife of sixty-eight years Anne Marie (Belmont) O’Boyle as well as his sister Clare Wagner, Pottsville, and brother Robert, Washington, DC. He leaves behind two sons Raymond Jr (Robin) O’Boyle and Daniel (Cindy) O’Boyle and three daughters Kathleen (Michael) Kerick, Barbara (Donald) Kohler and Mary Elizabeth (Dan) Cordle; thirteen grandchildren, Daniel B (Margaret) O’Boyle, Alexandra (Mark) Kalyan, Caitlin (Josh) Neiswender, Samantha Kerick and her fiancĂ© Chris Wood, Kurt (Jenna) Kohler, Kyle (Shannon) Kohler, Cory (Emily) Kohler, Ryne Kessler, Brynne Kessler, Casey O’Boyle, Connor O’Boyle, Hannah O’Boyle, Carly Cordle and nine great grandsons Theo, Ellis and Jude O’Boyle, Mason, Miles and Maverick Kalyan, Everett Kohler, Brandon and Koda Neiswender and a great granddaughter Camille Anne Kohler. 

All are respectfully invited to attend a visitation Saturday with calling hours from 8:30 to 10:00 am at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am at St. Michael the Archangel Church of the Holy Family Parish with Monsignor William Handges officiating. 

Interment St. Vincent De Paul #2 Cemetery. All current COVID-19 CDC guidelines should be followed.
