Born in Tamaqua on June 21, 1933, Anna was a daughter of the late Wayne and Margaret (Jones) Herb. A 1951 graduate of Tamaqua High School, she was a cheerleader during her school years. Anna worked for Heisler’s Egg Ranch until her retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Tamaqua and the former Salem Methodist Church, Tamaqua where she had been the organist, choir director, and a Sunday school teacher. Anna had been a Cub Scout Den mother, a 4-H Club member, and a member of the Lewistown Valley Garden Club. She was an avid sewer and enjoyed going on cruises. A birdwatcher, her favorite bird was the cardinal and she was known for taking in stray cats and giving them a home.
Anna is survived by a son, Troy Emerich of Tamaqua; a daughter, Lisa Blew of Tuscarora, PA; grandchildren, Nicholas Emerich, Elizabeth Robins, William Mellor, Jr., Nicole Smith, David Blew, Jr., Kara Blew, and Melissa Kuzo; great grandchildren, Delylah, Jackson, Scarlett, Brayden, Jade, Hannah, and Jacob; and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by brother, Dale Herb, sister, Mary Jane Wary, and great grandson, Matthew. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials in Anna’s name may be made to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, P.O. Box 332, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972 or the Hillside SPCA, 51 SPCA Road, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901 or a SPCA of donor’s choice.

Born Aug. 4, 1936, in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Sadie Schaeffer.
He was the widower of Sylvia J. (Koenig) Schaeffer.
He was a member of Grace Evangelical Free Church, Cressona, and had served in the Army.
He had been employed by Blue Mountain Elementary School as a custodian.
In addition to his mother and wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings.
Dale is survived by his daughters, Traci Hammond, wife of Stephen, Orwigsburg, and Heather Seltzer, wife of Tim, Ridgely, Md.; grandchildren, Caitlin Shaffer (fiancé, John Zaprazny), Eliza Dale Seltzer, Nate Seltzer and Mia Seltzer.
Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Lorraine E. Scinto, 51, Pottsville, entered into eternal rest Monday, January 3rd at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest, Allentown.
Born May 25th 1970 in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Roger L., I and Shirley (Mohl) Berkheiser.
She was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School Class of 1988 and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. She was employed at Boscov’s Department Store in the Fairlane Village Mall, Pottsville for the past 26 years as a department manager.
She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and was a member of Steeler Nation. She also loved to draw.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Roger L. Berkheiser II and father-in-law James Somers.
Lorraine will forever be missed by her loving husband Rocco J. Scinto, Pottsville; brother James J. Berkheiser and wife Margaret, Schuylkill Haven; sisters Donna J. Berkheiser, Pottsville; Karen M. Corby, Pottsville; Susan B. Honicker and husband Michael, Auburn; Shirley A. Brennan and husband Shawn, Cressona; mother-in-law Conjetta Somers, Pine Grove; brothers-in-law Tony Scinto, Minersville and Jim Somers husband of Germaine, Pine Grove; and several nieces and nephews Mallory, Paul, Zachary (godson), Jacqueline, Kevin, Kaylee, Brandon, Dylan, and Dominick; goddaughter Kelsie; and several great nephews and nieces.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects Sunday, January 16th from 1 o’clock in the afternoon until the time of service at 3 o’clock at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville. Rev. Chris Rothharpt, Off.

Born in Waterbury, CT, on February 28, 1930, he was a son of the late Leon B. and Sophia (Abram) Goodwin.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and received a Bronze Star.
Leon worked in the Banking industry for 30+ years, starting his career in CT and working at various branch locations around the Pottsville area, including Vice-President of the Union Bank, Pottsville, until his retirement.
He was a former member of the Pottsville Rotary Club.
Leon enjoyed attending antique car shows with his son, watching golf with his wife, and spending time with his family and pets.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Florence G. (Stotten) Goodwin, in February 2012, to whom he was married 60 years; and a granddaughter, Tarrah L. Weinus on November 28, 2021.
Leon is survived by daughter, Donna and her husband, Joe , of Pottsville; son, Michael L. Goodwin, husband of Joan, of Pottsville; grandchildren: Michael; Taylor, wife of Eric; John, husband of Ann; Jason, husband of Michelle; Jody, wife of Bob; and Nicole; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and interment in Skyview Cemetery with military honors will be private at the convenience of family.

Born Friday, February 3, 1939 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. the son of the late Frederick, and Fairlie (Holloway) Martin. He was also predeceased by; sisters, Edna Frankowski, Trudy McKennan); brothers, Robert, Edward, and James Martin.
Surviving are; his wife, Barbara V. (Crummett) Martin; sons, Robert Martin and Richard Martin; daughter, Robin Walterick wife of Richard, sister, Lillian Neves; 4 grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Charles drove a truck of Nestle Corporation of Fogelsville for 15 years.

Shirley was born in Hazleton, on May 25, 1984, a daughter of John Fisher, Sr., of Hazleton and the late Shirley Fisher.
She was currently employed as a clerk at Dicks Sporting goods Dickson City.,
Shirley was a social person, enjoying music and going to as well as having parties.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Nicholas J. Fisher.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Patrick Shala, by her two daughters, Nicole and Kimberly, both of whom reside in Nuremberg with their father William Greising.
Two brothers also survive, John Jr., and David Fisher, as well as her beloved dog, Rocky.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, private services will be held in the best interest of Shirley's family.
The Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, Ringtown is assisting Shirley's family during this time of need.

Stephen V. Condash, 98, a lifelong resident of Tresckow, passed away Thursday evening at the Manor at St. Luke Village, Hazleton.
Born in Tresckow, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Matyas) Condash.
Stephen was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.
Stephen was first employed as a carpenter for local contractors and prior to retiring, he was employed at Urania Engineering, Hazleton.
He was a member of the Hazleton VFW, Freeland VFW, and a life member of the Tresckow Fire Co.
Preceding him in death, were his brothers John and George Condash; and sisters Elizabeth Condash, Anna Lampman, Rita Pecuch and Mary Erdman.
Surviving, are his brother Robert Condash and wife Mary Ann, of Tresckow; and many nieces and nephews also survive.
His funeral will be held Tuesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Church of All Saints, McAdoo, at 11 a.m. by Rev. Msgr. William Baker. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s R.C. Cemetery, Tresckow.
A calling hour will be held Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
