There is a chance for Schuylkill County could see a measurable snowfall this week.
As of Wednesday morning, models are suggesting that Schuylkill County could receive 1 to 3 inches of snow that is expected to begin Thursday evening.
Amounts will vary across the county with less snow to the north and more to south.
Snow showers are expected to begin around 9:00pm and become a more steady snow overnight before ending by daybreak around 7:00am.
Some wintry mix may also factor in as well with temperatures lingering in the upper 20's.
Schuylkill County schools may delay Friday morning but it doesn't look like kids will get their first snow day just yet. We could be wrong though. Stay tuned to Skook News on Friday morning for any delays or closings.
