High winds having knocked down trees and wires causing several power outages across Schuylkill County early Friday morning.
According to PPL, as of 6:00am, 3,412 are without power.
The largest outage, which includes the Cressona, Lake Wynonah, and Friedensburg areas is leaving 2,694 homes in the dark.
Hubley Township is also reporting an outage of 263 homes, Reilly Township with 112, Schuylkill Township with 108 and South Manheim Township with 43.
Several small outages are also being reported in Auburn, Blythe Township, Branch Township, Easter Brunswick Township, East Union Township, North Union Township, Pine Grove Township, Tremont Township, and Union Township.
PPL is stating that all of the outages should be repaired by 11:00pm, Friday, if not earlier.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 9:00am Friday with wind gusts up to 50mph possible.
