A Hegins man is facing charges after an incident involving him calling the Pennsylvania State Police numerous times earlier this month.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on Saturday, March 5th, 2022, Clayton Bixler, 47, of Hegins Township began calling the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven about retrieving a shotgun of his that was taken as evidence in a separate investigation.
Troopers provided Bixler with the proper steps and procedures to take and was provided specific instructions on how to get his property back.
Bixler then began calling the Schuylkill Haven and Frackville barracks over and over a total of 11 times within an hour.
Bixler sounded heavily intoxicated and began yelling profanities, acting disorderly, and was advised if he didn't stop, he would face charges but he continued.
Bixler was located at his home in Hegins Township where at first, he was non compliant with commands from Troopers. He was eventually taken into custody without further issue.
State Police charged Bixler with disorderly conduct and hindering communications with 911.
