\The crash occurred just after 10:30am, near mile marker 116 in the northbound lanes of Interstate 81 just south of the Minersville Exit.
As of 11:00am, crews were still trying to get to the scene but multiple tractor trailers were reported to be on fire with multiple people trapped.
So far, fire crews from Frackville, Minersville, Englewood, Pine Grove, and Mahanoy City have been called to the scene with a tanker tasker force as well.
Interstate 81 northbound has been closed at Exit 112/Hegins.

UPDATE: Fire units from Minersville are having trouble getting to the Interstate on 901. Multiple accidents. Best to avoid this area altogether for the time being.
