High winds from a line of storms pushing through Monday evening knocked power out to several Schuylkill County communities.
According to PPL, as of 8:00pm, 1,803 homes were out without power across Schuylkill County.
The largest outages was reported in the Lavelle area of Butler Township as well as Gordon with 953 homes in the dark.
Several other outages were reported in
- East Brunswick Township - 167
- Reilly Township - 113
- South Manheim Township - 106
- Barry Township - 80
- North Manheim Township - 75
- Hegins Township - 67
- Wayne Township - 63
Small outages were reported in Branch Township, Hubley Township, North Union Township, Pine Grove Township, Union Township, Upper Mahantango Township, and Washington Township.
