A driver crashed through a fence at the Mahanoy City High Rise on Friday evening.
The incident occurred around 10:00pm, Friday, when a male driver was parking along Centre Street. The driver reportedly hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, drove up onto the sidewalk and through a fence before coming to a stop.
The driver was not injured during the incident.
Police from Mahanoy City and Mahanoy Township responded to the scene. No response from the fire department was needed.
