Thanks to non-profit, Dustin's Adventureland, the Easter Bunny made his annual tour of Schuylkill County.
For the third year in a row, Dustin's Adventureland organized a tour of Schuylkill County for the Easter Bunny.
Dustin's Adventureland is a non-profit that is building Schuylkill County's first ever special needs playgrounds in Minersville.
The event was started in 2020 during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic when families were unable to visit the Easter Bunny. In 2019, before Dustin's Adventureland formed, they organized an Easter Egg Hunt for kids with special needs. Due to the pandemic, they were unable to have the egg hunt, thus the Skook Easter Bunny Tour was born.
The tour began Friday "north of the mountain" where the Easter Bunny visited the communities of Shenandoah, Girardville, Ashland, and Mahanoy City.
On Saturday, the tour continued through Pottsville, Mount Carbon, Minersville, Palo Alto, Port Carbon, Mechanicsville, and Saint Clair.
The escorts for the Easter Bunny varied from parade to parade with first responders joining in to help.
Donors contributed and helped organize each of the parades.
Photo's shown from Ashland and Shenandoah's parades.
