A Harrisburg man is facing charges after an altercation in Ashland on Monday evening.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, around 10:30pm, on Monday, April 25th, 2022, Troopers responded to South 11th Street in Ashland for a report of criminal mischief.
Police learned that Jeremy Leatherman and Robert Felty, 49, of Harrisburg got into an argument in front of the apartment building where Leatherman resided.
The argument escaladed when Leatherman retreated into the apartment building. Felty became irate and struck the outside door of building several times with an axe causing approximately $1,500 worth of damage.
Before police arrived, Felty fled the scene.
State Police say they will charge Felty with criminal mischief.
