Janet A. Ney, 79, of Tremont, passed away Wednesday evening, April 20, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.Janet was born in Ashland, January 5, 1943, a daughter of the late Carl and Rheda Keeney Imschweiler. She was a 1960 graduate of the former Tremont High School.
She retired as a seamstress from the garment factory.
She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont. Janet enjoyed doing puzzles, sewing and taking care of her two dogs Rosie and Maggie. But above all she enjoyed being with her family, whom she dearly loved.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Harold "Hal" Ney, 2013, two sisters; Diane Scheibley and Carla Schneck.
Surviving are her five children; Cheryl Sidleck, Tremont, Harold Ney, Jr. (Ann), Media, Vickie Lupatsky, Tremont, Polly Lemke, Tremont and Wesley Ney (Jamie), Tremont, a brother; Robert Imschweiler (Dawn), Hershey, 9 grandchildren; Justin, Jeena, Brenna, Cody, Kristen, Austen, Ayden, Brenden and Brittanie, 9 great grandchildren, Davinee, Sully, Zendaya, Amelia, Geanna, Dalen, Keaton, Kyler and Kash. Nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Janet's life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City with Pastor Claude Schach officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the chapel. Because of the love Janet had for her dogs, in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to 2 Mutts Love, 328 Bridge Street, Tremont, PA 17981.

Robert E. Stravinsky, 48, of Ringtown, passed away on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Bob was born in Pottsville, on March 7, 1974, a son of Melodee (Stauffer) and Robert Stravinsky, both of Ringtown.
He was a 1992 graduate of the North Schuylkill high school, and was employed for over 25 years by Hydro Extrusions of Cressona, where he was currently a supervisor.
Bob was an accomplished expert motocross racer, having began his career at the age of four, and was a lifetime member of the American Motocross Association.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by the loves of his life, his three daughters, Chloe Stravinsky, Terra Stravinsky and Lyla Stravinsky, all of Ringtown. Bob enjoyed going to their sporting events, taking walks and riding bikes, and just being with his girls.
Two sisters, Jill Simons, and Holly, wife of Dan Bindie, all of Frackville also survive, as do nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held at the 11 AM on Monday, April 25th 2022 at Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown, with Rev. Craig Zimmerman, officiating. A Viewing will be held from 9 AM until t 11 AM.
Bob will be laid to rest in St. John's Cemetery, immediately following the service.
Bob's family will provide flowers and asks for memorial donations in his memory be made to the American Cancer Society.

William was born in Barry Twp. on January 22, 1936, a son of the late Ruth (Dengler) and William R. Lipsett. He was the husband of Frances Mary (Shopple) Lipsett. He was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel of the Holy Family Parish Minersville. He was employed as an Auto Parts Manager at K. Sam Miller and Heritage Ford.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother , Donald. William is survived by his wife, Frances, two sons Donald Lipsett, and Drew, husband of Maureen Lipsett, a daughter, Ruth Ann, wife of Michael Maberry. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Adam & Alex Maberry, and Luke Lipsett.
A Visitation will be held 8:00 to 9:30 AM on Saturday, April 23rd at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. Minersville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am at St. Michael the Archangel Church of the Holy Family Parish in Minersville with Reverend Jason F. Stokes officiating.
Interment at St. Vincent De Paul #2 Cemetery. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville entrusted with the arrangements.
