Robert L. Brutts, 58, of Pottsville, passed away on Monday afternoon in his residence surrounded by his family.
Born in Norristown on June 5, 1963, he was the son of Pauline Margaret (Klesyk) and the late Robert L. Brutts.
Bob was a graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School.
He was as a corrections officer on both the County and Federal levels for over 25 years, retiring in 2014.
Bob was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Pottsville, where he was very active and devoted to volunteering for the Homeless Shelter and the Food Pantry. And through the years Bob and Holly hosted numerous exchange students.
He was a member of the Collegeville Masonic Lodge #310.
Bob was an avid WWII enthusiast and enjoyed reading and his dogs.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas, who he tragically lost in 2014. Through Nicholas' death and the Gift of Life Program Bob received the ultimate gift of his son's kidney.
He is survived by his wife, Holly L. (Hamm), to whom he was married for 36 years; a daughter, Noelle K. Brutts, at home; a son, Ryan R. Brutts, husband of Amanda, of Ringtown; grandsons, Connor and Nikolai Brutts; brother, Steve Brutts, widow of Tina, of Pottstown; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30th, at 2:00 p.m. at the United Presybyterian Church, 214 Mahantongo St., Pottsville.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions in Bob's memory be sent to the Gift of Life. Please make the check out to “Transplant Foundation” and mail to: Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. 3rd. St., Philadelphia, PA 19123.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Born on November 16, 1994 in Hershey, she was a daughter of Troy and Jennifer Warner Morgan of Pine Grove.
Tori was a graduate of Pine Grove Area High School and obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University.
She worked as an Environmental Engineer for Golder, Member of WSP in Jacksonville.
Tori loved the beach and yoga.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her grandparents, Rose and husband Terrance Huffman of Conway, S.C., Butch Warner of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Ed and Karen Morgan of Pine Grove; an aunt, Tara Morgan Green; three uncles, Trevor Warner, Brett Morgan and Heath Morgan; cousins; and her cat, Turt.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, with Pastor Ted Williams officiating. There will be a visitation on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Manbeck's Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven. Funeral Services will be live streamed on the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. Facebook page.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, 18 Wertz Dr., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in her memory.

Joan M. Sanders, 64 years of age, of Coal Township, Pennsylvania died on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Mountain View Nursing Home in Coal Township, Pennsylvania.
Born Thursday, December 12, 1957 in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Louis, and Alphonsine "Tootsie" (Silvestro) Hoepp. Joan was also predeceased by; sister, Deborah A. McConomy; brother, Louis J. Hoepp, Jr.
Surviving are; sons, Kevin M. Sanders and his wife Kacie, Anthony J. Sanders; daughters, Melanie Sanders, Michelle Sanders all of Tamaqua; 5 grandchildren.
A graduate of Little Flower High School in Philadelphia, Joan played first chair Viola in High School. She enjoyed cooking, and baking.
