The results of the primary race for Governor of Pennsylvania revealed Pennsylvania Attorney General and a State Senator will face off in November.
Attorney General Josh Shapiro went into Tuesday's primary unopposed on the Democratic ticket, so his nomination was almost certain.
The Republican side was a little more cloudy before Tuesday.
The leading candidates were former Hazleton Mayor and current US Congressman Lou Barletta, current State Senator Doug Mastriano, and former President Trump attorney Bill McSwain.
The first update of poll results Tuesday night gave a glimpse into the Republican nomination, but by 10:15pm, it was clear Mastriano was clear winner with almost twice as many votes as Barletta.
By 10:30pm, Barletta called Mastriano conceding and agreeing that the Republicans must come together to defeat Shapiro in November.
