A man driving under the influence led State Police in a pursuit from Tamaqua to Carbon County last week.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Monday, April 25th, 2022 around 9:50pm, Troopers attempted to initiate a traffic stop near North Railroad Street and Route 309 in Tamaqua on a Ford Ranger driven by Brian Boner, 60, of Nesquehoning.
Boner failed to stop and a pursuit ensued.
During the pursuit, the truck became inoperable south of Route 54 in Nesquehoning. Boner attempted to flee on foot but was eventually apprehended and placed into custody.
