Mudge W. Berger, Jr., 82, passed away on Saturday, April 30th, 2022.An evening visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday May 11th, at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home, Inc., Orwigsburg. A Religious Service will be held on Thursday May 12th at 11:00 AM, at First United Methodist Church, Schuylkill Haven with Rev Dr. Christopher Fisher officiating. Guests may also visit in the church from 9:30 until the Masonic Service begins at 10:45 AM on Thursday.
Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church 420 Saylor Street Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972 or Schuylkill Masonic Lodge No. # 138 F & AM, 1000 E. Market St., Orwigsburg, PA 17961.

Born Friday, March 4, 1960 in Elizabeth , New Jersey the daughter of the late John Michael, and Barbara (Gross) Watahovich. Gail was also predeceased by her sister Jacqueline Watahovich.
Surviving are son, Michael J. Dryburgh; daughter, Melissa Hoegler; companion with whom she resided, Robert M. Piscelli, Jr..
A graduate of Madison High School, Madison NJ, Gail had a long tenured career in the banking Industry as a loan officer.

Margaret J. Shaffner, 80, of Tower City, formerly of Williamstown (Dayton) passed away early Sunday morning, May 1, 2022 at UPMC-Osteopathic with her daughter by her side after a very brief illness.
Born in Highspire, March 24, 1942, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Cresswell Stiles.
Margaret devoted most of her life being a homemaker, later in life she worked at Walmart for several years. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, gardening and will be remembered for always being the babysitter for the neighborhood children.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Wiconisco.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Shaffner, Sr., July 6, 2010.
Surviving are her two children; Kathy L. Shutt and her husband Ted, and Gerald Jr. "Keith" Shaffner, Tower City, a grandson; Ted Shutt Jr., one brother; James Stiles, Highspire. Margaret was looking forward to the birth of her first great grandchild due in October.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 14 2022 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Carsonville. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the chapel.

Ronald Wayne Long, 85 of Lavelle passed away on Tuesday, April 26,2022 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Shamokin on March 8, 1937, he was the son of late Fred and Kathryn (Krebs) Long.
Ronald attended Shamokin schools.
He was a retired mechanic.
Ronald was an avid woodworker in his retirement.
Surviving are one daughter, Dawn Thomas and her husband James of East Coventry, PA; three grandchildren, Jimmy, Sammy and Christopher; one sister, Janet Simons and her husband William of Pitman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son Ronald Long, Jr. and six siblings.
Services will be private. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home 40 South Market Street Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor is entrusted with arrangements.
