A man is facing charges for starting a vehicle fire near Minersville late Monday.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, Troopers were on patrol in Norwegian Township near King's Village, near Minersville, when they noticed a pickup truck fully engulfed in flames in the parking lot of the plaza.
Llewellyn and Mar Lin Fire Companies responded to the scene and put out the fire. The fire also damaged a second vehicle that was parked nearby
Troopers investigated a cause and questioned the registered owner, Donovan Tobin, 20, Pottsville.
Tobin confessed to police that he started the fire
Arson and other related charges were filed by State Police through Magisterial District Judge Dave Plachko's office.
