Edwin M. “Teensie” Pauly, 60, of Pottsville, formerly of Branchdale, died Friday at home.Born in Pottsville on October 12, 1961, he was a son of Geraldine Smith Pauly, Branchdale, and the late Nelson J. Pauly. He attended Minersville schools; and worked at local tree farms and supermarkets.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by three siblings, Richard Pauly, Francis Pauly and Christine Neiswender.
Surviving are his children, Justin Pauly, Pottsville, Kayla Dierwechter (spouse, Chris), North Manheim Township, Jonathan Pauly (spouse, Nicole), Minersville, Kaitlyn Diaz (spouse, Esvin), Pottsville, Amanda Pauly, Pottsville, Alexis Pauly, Pottsville, and Emily Pauly, Pottsville, eight grandchildren. Also surviving are his remaining siblings, Marie Weikel (spouse, James), Pottsville, Gregory Pauly, Branchdale, Edward Pauly (his twin), Branchdale, Christopher Pauly (spouse, Mandy), Branchdale, Eloise “Liz” Pauly, Minersville, Frederick Pauly, Minersville, and Philip Pauly, Branchdale; nieces and nephews.

Nancy J. Heffner, 85, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday, June 25th, at Providence Place Retirement Community, Pottsville.
Nancy was born in Pottsville on November 5, 1936, a daughter of the late Dorothy (Gable) and ElwoodDavis.
She was the widow of Ray Heffner.
Nancy graduated from Pottsville High School in 1955. After graduation, she worked as a secretary at the Schuylkill County Courthouse.
In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Nancy is survived by her sister Arlene Roberts, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 30th at Geschwindt Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc in Schuylkill Haven with ______ officiating. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to the time of service. Interment will be held at Schuylkill Memorial Park following the service at the funeral home.

Marie A. Wolsky, 99, formerly of Shenandoah and a resident of Brittany Pointe Estates in Lansdale, passed away on Saturday June 25, 2022 at her residence.
Ms. Wolsky was born in Shenandoah on September 1, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Swirsky) Wolsky.
She moved to the Washington D.C. in the early 1940s and began her government career working for the War Department, now the Department of Defense. After World War II, she transferred to the General Accounting Office, now the Government Accountability Office and subsequently retired from that agency. Ms. Wolsky was the recipient of the GAO’s Meritorious Award. In 1981, she moved from the D.C. area to Arlington, Virginia. In retirement, Ms. Wolsky worked as a concierge and resident services specialist at the Crystal Plaza Apartments where she then resided.
Ms. Wolsky was a member of the former Saint Stanislaus Church, Shenandoah.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her sister, Theresa D. Ryan and her two brothers, Alfred A. Wolsky and Michael Wolsky.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 10:00 am in Divine Mercy Church, 232 West Cherry Street, Shenandoah with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor as the celebrant. Interment will follow in Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.

Martin Chrusch, 86, Mahanoy City passed away peacefully on Monday, June 27th at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.

Veronica Setlock, 93, formerly of Saint Clair, died Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.
Born in Saint Clair, on June 16, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Catherine (Weinglash) Scarbinsky.
She was a graduate of Saint Clair High School. She worked at Phillips Van Huesen and was a member of ILGWU before retiring from York Terrace Nursing Home.
She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Saint Clair, and the former Ss. Peter & Paul Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Setlock, in 1994; six sisters, Stella Scarbinsky, Rose Matta, Helen Scarbinsky, Agnes Scarbinsky, Frances Voloshin and Mary Consugar; four brothers, Walter Scarbinsky, John Scarbinsky, Joseph Scarbinsky and Stanley Scarbinsky.
Surviving are nieces and nephews Kathryn Tebin and her husband, Robert, of Pottsville, Mark Scrabinsky and his wife, Mildred, of Saint Clair, Anthony Scarbinsky and his wife, Patricia of New York, Eleanor Scarbinsky, of Minersville, Robert Scarbinsky, of Alabama, and Debra Scarbinsky, of New York.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday from St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St., Saint Clair, PA 17970, with Monsignor William F. Glosser officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Clare of Assisi Memorial Fund at the above address. Burial will be in Ss. Peter & Paul RC Cemetery, Port Carbon.

Born in Mahanoy Plane, June 23, 1928, She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Fannie Musolusky.
She was graduate of Gilberton High School, Class of 1945.
Anna worked at a General Cigar Plant, Jetson Envelope, as well asSeveral Area Garment factories.She was a member of the ILGWU.
She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker, Frackville and was an avid gardener. Truth be told, besides gardening, she could do or repair anything. She always had a project!
Anna was a kind and caring woman who took her life in stride without complaint.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garrett A. Collins, in 1999; and her beloved grandson Ryan McGee in 1994; 3 sisters Helen, Agnes and Kitty and 2 Brothers Thomas and Peter..
Surviving are two daughters Ann McGee and her husband Tom of Auburn; Debbie Lawson and her husband Paul of Frackville; 2 granddaughters Erin Mennig and her husband Mike of Minersville; Laura Young and her husband CJ of Frackville; grandson Collin McGee of Wyomissing; 2 great-grandchildren Lilly and Carson Young; Nieces and Nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Friday July 1, 2022 from St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 49 N. Line St. Frackville, PA 17931 with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito officiating. Mark E. Kanaski, 61 years of age of Allentown, Pennsylvania died on Friday, June 24, 2022, in his residence.
Born Thursday, August 11, 1960 in San Diego, California the son of Richard Stephen "Ski" Kanasky of New Ringgold, and the late Sarah E. (Eatty) Kanaski.
Surviving are brothers, Richard S. Kanaski, Jr., Robert J. Kanaski and his wife, Marjorie, Michael R. Kanaski, Timothy W. Kanaski and his wife, Denise and Ronald Hollander. Many nieces and nephews also survive Mark.
A graduate of Bonita Vista High School in San Diego California, Mark and his siblings lived in numerous cities during his father's 30 plus years of honorable service in the United States Navy. Mark was a Barber/Beautician, and enjoyed the company of his pet birds.

Regina Ann Weist, 90, formerly of Gordon and Shenandoah passed away Tuesday, June 21st in Fort Myers, FL.

Prior to retiring, she worked as a machine operator in the garment industry at various local knitting mills. Born in West Penn Township, she was the daughter of the late Deyman F. Hamm and Messida (Lorah) Hamm Schwenk. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Tamaqua. Elaine loved her family and going on trips with her sisters.
Surviving are a son, Jeffrey C. and his wife, Kelly, of Tamaqua; three brothers, John and his wife, Jean, of Tamaqua, Larry and his wife, Kay, of Andreas, and Jesse and his wife, Marie, of Tamaqua; two sisters, Mabel Smith, of New Tripoli, and Lillian Gernert, of Tamaqua; two grandchildren, Ethan, at home, and Autumn, wife of Timothy Simmons, of Drums; nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11am on Friday, July 1, at the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold. Call 6-8pm Thursday, June 30, and Friday, July 1, from 10-11am. Interment at Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Arrangements are being handled by the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold.
