The Pennsylvania State Police recently cited three Schuylkill County businesses for selling alcohol to a minor.
According to a report from the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement in Allentown the following three businesses sold alcohol to a 20 year old on April 13th, 2022.
- Alanna's - 313 New Castle Street, Minersville
- Beer Haven, 29 West Main Street, Schuylkill Haven
- Pine Grove Diner, 475 Suedberg Road, Pine Grove
The charges against these businesses will be brought before an Administrative Law Judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses.
The judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge.
During the same period, the following businesses were found to be in compliance
- Sidetrack Tap Room, 315 N. Railroad St., Tamaqua
- Logan's Roundhouse, 104 and106 N. Second St., Saint Clair
- Smoking Joe's Tobacco Shop, 706 Centre St., Ashland
- DW'S Deli & Hoagies, 337-341 E. Grand Ave., Tower City
