The extended hours are for the option to purchase a hunting, fishing, and dog licenses. Residents can also renew or apply for a license to carry firearms. Additionally Marriage License can be applied for on this day.
Sherriff Groody said “To better serve County Residents, I will continue to offer extended hours to accommodate law abiding citizens with the option to apply for a license to carry firearms.”
Fee for a concealed carry license is $20.00 and is payable with cash, check, money order, and credit card (with minimal fee). Current license holders can renew up to 60 days before the expiration date. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and must provide a current and valid PA Driver’s license, or a current PA identification card that has the applicant’s current address. Applicants must provide the name, full address and phone number of two references (references cannot be family members). Applications will be processed and mailed to the applicant’s home address.

Hunting license sales began Monday, June 13th, 2022.
100% Disabled Veterans must obtain their licenses at the Treasurer’s Office and are encouraged to do so before the beginning of doe sales which began Monday, July 11, 2022.
All CID #’s must be written on the checks/money orders. Please DO NOT call the office to find out if your application has been processed. Hunters may obtain this information online using the link https://huntfishpa.gov.
Treasurer Linda Yeich would also like to remind residents, all dogs 3 months and older are required by PA law to have a dog license. Lifetime licenses can only be purchased at the Treasurer’s office for any dog that is microchipped. Applicants must present paperwork within a 30 day period from the vet completing the permanent identification verification form.
