Even though the billion dollar Mega Millions jackpot ticket wasn't sold in Pennsylvania, there were tickets from Lackawanna and Montgomery Counties sold that were worth at least $1 Million.
The Pennsylvania Lottery announced Monday morning that two tickets, one worth $1 Million and a second worth $2 Million were sold in Pennsylvania.
The $1 Million ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven, located on the Germantown Pike in Norristown, Montgomery County. The winner matched all 5 white balls during the drawing but did not match the yellow Mega Ball.
The 7-Eleven also earns a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
The $2 Million ticket was sold a little closer to home at Joe's Kwik Marts on North Keyser Avenue in Scranton, Lackawanna County. The winner matched all 5 white balls but played the multiplier which was 2x.
The convenient store earns a $10,000 selling bonus.
