John William Miller, 85, of Pottsville, passed away Thursday, August 11th.Born in Atlas, PA on July 11, 1937, he was the son of the late Alfred Miller and Mae (Zebe).
John served in the U.S. Army and was trained as a radio operator. After his service, he trained as a mechanic and worked at the General Cigar Company, and then as a Supervisor Maintenance Mechanic at Kraft Foods in Fogelsville, PA for nearly 25 years before retiring.
John was a member of the former St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon for nearly 50 years, and more recently was a member of the St. Clare of Assisi Church.
He was an avid supporter of local high school sports and traveled throughout the State to attend Mt. Carmel football games and Pottsville Area High School basketball games. John loved gardening, collecting antiques, and repairing anything from cars to antique clocks. But more than anything, John found the greatest joy in being with his family, laughing and bringing a smile to everyone’s face.
John is survived by his wife, Kathryn Kleckner Kramer, to whom he was married in 2010.
John is pre-deceased by his wife of 25 years, Charlotte Mazloom Miller, and is survived by their four children: daughters, DeAnn Miller and her partner Jeffrey Gittleman of Sugarloaf; Deborah Miller Skelly of Tampa, FL; Donna Crouse and her husband Joe of Pottsville; and son, Derek J. Miller and his wife, Susan of New Hope, PA; and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by two stepdaughters: Jena Crea and her partner Mark Sims of Reading; Anne Kramer Rehrig, and her husband Fred of Schuylkill Haven; and his Mother In-law, Jean Kleckner of New Ringgold.
He was predeceased by five sisters, Beatrice McMasters, Eleanor Ermert, Rose Koslosky, Mae Evert, Dorothy Kutchen and three brothers Alfred, James and Robert Miller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Clare of Assisi Church, St. Clair, Thursday August 18th at 10:30 AM with Msgr William F. Glosser officiating. Visitation in the church will begin at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Inc. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to be made to St. Clare of Assisi Church, 250 E Hancock St, St Clair, PA 17970.

She was born on December 12, 1933 in Ashland and was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Snyder.
Rosemary was a member of First Christian Church, Lemoyne.
She was a graduate of Ashland High School and Ashland State Hospital School of Nursing.
She worked as a registered nurse for over 30 years at the Harrisburg Hospital.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a brother George and sister Margaret.
Rosemary is survived by her caregiver Troy Schoppert and several nephews.
Private burial will take place at Brock Cemetery-Ashland.

Jean “Mammam” White, 89, of Elmer Street, Ashland, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022, with her family by her side, at the Geisinger Shamokin Community Hospital, Coal Township. Born in Shenandoah Heights, June 13, 1933, she was the daughter of Clarence and Florence Johnson Bailey. She was a graduate of the former Frackville High School, class of 1950, and had been employed at the Mahanoy City Cigar Factory until its closing, and lastly as a machine operator for the Tri State Envelope Corporation, Ashland. She was married to Ronald White on July 9, 1951, who passed on October 24, 2004. Also preceding her in death were brothers, John and Tom Bailey, a sister, Janet Davis, a grandson, Justin Ladick, and a great grandson, Devan Rogers.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 11 AM, in the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre Street, Ashland. Officiating will be Rev. Dana Heckman Beil, pastor of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Ashland. Interment will be in the Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs. Visitation will begin at 9 AM in the funeral home until service. The family requests memorials may be made to the animal shelter of your choice.

Frank A. Warner, 71, of Rock Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at home.
Born on July 7, 1951 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Frank R. and Eva F. Ferrebee Warner.
He was a 1969 graduate of Pine Grove High School and a graduate of Penn State Berks.
Frank worked in Maintenance for Bayer in Myerstown. He was a member of Hetzel's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove, the NRA and Valley View Gun Club. He loved the outdoors, hunting, camping and his dogs.
Preceding him in death was a sister, Shirley J. Krause.
Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Linda Snyder Warner; two sons, Clint and wife Renee Warner of Pine Grove, Matthew and wife Jill Warner of Arizona; a daughter, Tessa Smith of Colorado; 11 grandchildren; three step children, Randy Sholl, Tyler Sholl, and Amy Schueller; nieces and nephews.
All Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
