Born in Tower City, December 28, 1928, a son of the late Joseph C. and Gertrude Kopp Doyle. Joe was a graduate of the former Porter Tower High School.
He was a United States Navy Veteran.
Joe was retired from Bethlehem Steel. He was also a self employed electrician for many years.
He was of the Catholic faith. He was a lifetime member of the Tower City Loyal Order of Moose, where he enjoyed socializing with his friends.
Joe was an avid gardener of both vegetables and flowers. He was a talented woodworker and all around handyman.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Rose Margetanski Doyle, February 3, 2009, two sons, Joseph and Tim Doyle, and a grandson, Chaney Doyle.
Surviving are his children, Robert Margetanski, Frackville, Larry Doyle, Tower City, Sue Jones (Ed), Tower City, Rose Challenger, Williamstown and Kathy Doyle, Williamstown; four grandchildren, Vicki Stevenson, Bridget Hadesty, Brandon Doyle, and Cody Challenger; four great grandchildren, Kylie Snyder, Anna Hadesty, Jenna and Braden Doyle; a brother, Harold Doyle, Philadelphia.
Joe will be laid to rest privately in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Williamstown.

Doris was a member of the former St. Mauritius Roman Catholic Church, now Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish both of Ashland. She was the care taker for the former Saint Elizabeth’s Catholic Chapel, Lavelle, a mission church of the former Saint Mauritius Catholic Church, Ashland, as well as an Eucharistic Minister serving Mass in Lavelle. Doris was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Saint Joan of Arc Chapter, Ashland.
She was a member of the former Ashland Regional Medical Center auxiliary, Fountain Springs, and worked for many years for the Schuylkill County Election Verification Board.
Preceding her in death was her husband, William Herb Sr., passing May 9, 1993, a daughter Elena “Lanie” Herb, passing February 7, 2020, a twin sister, Dorothy Leach Shadle, passing September 22, 2018, a granddaughter Chloe Boyer in 2005, brothers, Harlan and Donald Leach, and sisters, Rose Bogetti and Catherine Flannery.
Doris loved being a twin. As a child and teenager she and her twin sister Dorothy enjoyed switching places in classes at school, and sometimes on dates. She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, and going to the beach.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Prayer Service, Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 11 AM, in the Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre St., Ashland. Officiating will be Rev. Giuseppe Esposito, pastor of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish, Ashland. Interment will be in the Citizen’s Cemetery, Lavelle. A visitation will begin at 9 AM until service.

Born in Centralia on December 6, 1944, she was the daughter of the late John and Anne (Yuschock) Lawler.
She attended the former Saint Ignatius Grade School, Centralia and was a graduate of the former Ashland High School.
Prior to her retirement, Patti was employed in many local factories including Packaging Resources, Tri-State Envelope Corporation and Mr. Hanger, Ringtown.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish. Patti was fun loving. Her laugh was infectious. She loved game nights with family and get togethers with friends. Patti was also a member of the Centralia American Legion Post 608 and also played on their shuffleboard team where she would always have pom poms in hand supporting both teams with her silly cheers.
Surviving are her husband John M. Shustack; children, John Shustack and his fiance' Lori Trocki of Mount Carmel, Sherry Shustack and her husband Jack Horan of Wilburton, Kenneth Shustack and his companion Andrea Taylor of Coal Township, Robert Shustack of Mount Carmel and Jack Kenenitz whom she helped raise and considered her son; thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; three brothers, John Lawler and his wife Mary of Den-Mar Gardens, Joseph Lawler and his wife Mary of New Jersey and Mr. & Mrs. Edward Lawler of Wilburton; nieces, nephews and their families.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church with the Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor as the celebrant. A visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, Supervisor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
