Charles E. Griffiths, Jr., 57, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday, August 30th, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, with his loved ones by his side.
Born in Pottsville on October 16, 1964, he was a son of the late Charles E. & Janet (Simpson) Griffiths.
Charlie was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1982. Then completed the NJATC apprenticeship.
He was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven.
Charlie was a union electrician with IBEW, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 743 for many years. For the last 11 years, he worked as the Electrical Trades Instructor for SCI, Mahanoy.
Charlie was a member of Cressona Lodge #222 F&AM, Granny's Gang Hunting Club, and the New Ringgold, and Landingville Fire Companies.

He also enjoyed outdoor activities such as kayaking, biking, and hunting as well as visiting different breweries. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and was always willing to teach others how to be a "smart ass" and enjoy life.
He is survived by a daughter, Carlie Griffiths, wife of Zachary Polinsky, of Slatington; a son, Connor Griffiths, of Schuylkill Haven, his fiance, Trish Schimpf, Schuylkill Haven, an uncle, Jason Simpson, York, PA, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, September 30th at Geschwindt Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc, 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven, with Rev. Ted Rathman officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of services.
Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Lois I. Hall, 82, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday, August 27th, at her residence.
Born in Donaldson, PA on July 14, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd & Beulah (Wendling) Morgan.
She was the widow of Matthew Hall.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by her sisters: Rita Weishorn, Joan Reed, & Carol Schappell, and brother, Lloyd Morgan, Jr.
Lois is survived by two sons: Alfred Marks, Jr., husband of Donna, of Frackville; & Wayne Marks, of Schuylkill Haven; and a daughter, Rhonda Feno, wife of Daniel, of Pottsville; and two grandchildren: Krystle Marks, & Taylor Marks.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 2nd at 9:30 AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
In order to defray the cost of final expenses, contributions to the family may be mailed to Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
Born in Flint, MI on May 15, 1942 he was the son of the late Alice J. (Bolman) and Roger A. Leestma.
After high school he was drafted by the Detroit Lions and then served in the Army.
Jeff worked as a mechanic, chef, insurance agent, insurance estimator, and as a teacher in the prisons. He was a well-rounded jack of all trades.
He was of the Christian faith.
He enjoyed shooting and was a lifetime member of the NRA. He also enjoyed working on and collecting classic cars.
He is preceded in death by a son Charlie Leestma and brother Jan Leestma.
Jeffrey is survived by; daughter Patricia Wishnefsky (Philip), Lavelle; son Chad Stuart (Jenny), Long Beach CA; 12 grandchildren Anthony, Brianna, Katie, Michael, Brooke, Sawyer, Sally Grace, Grant, Jessica, Brian, Dylan & Sierra.
Services and interment will private at his family’s request.

Virginia R. Carter, 86, of Pottsville formerly of Long Island, NY, died peacefully Monday while in the care of her granddaughter, Paula and great-grandson Michael.
She was born August 5, 1936 in Long Island City, NY a daughter of the late Thomas M. and Elmira Stewart Barrett.
Virginia was of Catholic faith.
Virginia was known as loving women to her entire family and never had a bad word to say about anyone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Carter; a sister, Ethel Timmermann
Surviving are her children, Paula Smith, Pottsville; Debra Boncore, Pottsville; Elizabeth Pakli, Long Island, NY; Anthony Evangelista; Long Island; Thomas Evangelista, Port Jefferson, NY; Dennis Evangelista, Minersville; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; 2 brothers, George Barrett, Brooklyn, NY; Michael Barrett, Fl; nieces and nephews.

Ronald D. Moll, 55 years of age, a former resident of Tamaqua, passed away much too young in his home in Hershey, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, August 30, 2022.
Born Wednesday, April 5, 1967 in Easton, the son of the late Richard, and Doris L. (Rehm) Moll. Ron was also predeceased by; his beloved wife, Florence T. (O'Leary) Moll on August 13, 2018.
Surviving are; daughter, Sharon N. Moll and her companion Dylan W. Cleary; sons, Brendan C. Moll, Harold T. Moll and his companion Brittany Cory; brother, Ricky Moll and his wife Tammy; sister, Mary Noguera wife of Gil. Nieces and nephews also survive Ron as well as many friends, and neighbors.
A graduate of the Milton Hershey School, Ron matriculated to East Stroudsburg University earning his B.S. in English, and later achieving his Masters Degree. Ron, taught 12th grade English in the Parkland School System, and was the theater director. Ron was a devoted Phillies fan, talented writer, enjoyed poetry, reading, the companionship of his dog Harper, and rides in his Mustang.
