Born Thursday, August 23, 1956 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the son of the late Franklin, and Pauline (Fulton) Stidham. Donny was also predeceased by his beloved wife, Kimberly (Haldeman) Stidham on December 10, 2020.
Surviving are son, Robert J. Stidham and his companion Tina Sullivan; brother, Franklin "Jay" Stidham and his wife Lorraine; grandaughter, Rhyla Stidham; mother-in-law, Joan Haldeman; sister-in-laws, Pam wife of Clem McCarroll; Dana wife of Paul Valentine, Susan wife of Ernie Henritzy; nieces and nephews; Cheryl A. Sitlinger and her husband Matt, Stacey Hadden, Jay Stidham and his wife Noelle, Courtney and Justin McCarroll, Derek, Chelsey, and Devan Valentine, Hudson Henritzy. Many great nieces and nephews also survive Donny.
A 1974 Tamaqua Area High School graduate, Donny matriculated to McCann's School of Business in Mahanoy City earning an associates in accounting. Donny worked for the former Tamaqua Home Savings & Loan until it's merger with M&T Bank. Returning to school, Donny earned an IT certification from Lincoln Technical School. Donny began working at the J.C. Penny Distribution Center, until his recent employment with West Port Manufacturing in Alburtis.
Donny was a youth soccer coach and animal lover, especially his dachshunds. He also enjoyed making stained glass, and gardening. After taking ill Donny reveled in the glow of his great nieces and nephews, and enjoyed passing the days on his brother Jays patio in Owl Creek. Donny was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tamaqua, and volunteered at the S.P.C.A..

A Celebration of Life Service honoring both Donny, and Kim will be held on Wednesday September 7, 2022 at 3 o'clock P.M. from the funeral home. Rev. Cindy White to officiate. Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. until time of services.

Born on August 10th, 1933, in Derringer, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Elvin “Lefty” Griesing and Evelyna Knapp.
Alma was a graduate of the former Rock Glen High School and then worked for Fabri-Cal Plastics for many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Weston, Pa. She was also a member of the Sheppton American Legion Ladies Auxilliary. Alma enjoyed polkas, bingo, going to the casino, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Besides her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Donald D. Finkel in 2010, 2 brothers, Merel and Richard Griesing, 3 sisters, Luwanda, Helen, and Evelyn, and 2 grandsons, Stephen Finkel and Jason Zulkowski.
Surviving are 3 sons, Donald Finkel – Nuremberg, David Finkel with his wife Lynn – Zion Grove, and Chris Finkel with his wife Linda – Bloomsburg. 1 sister, Loretta Schlauch – Bloomsburg, 3 grandchildren, Joel Finkel with his wife Becky, Ashley Finkel, and Collin Finkel with his fiancĂ© Kristen, and 1 great-grandson, Kyle Finkel.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 6th from 9 to 10am in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 554 Main St, Weston, Pa. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am and will be officiated by Fr. Richard Polmounter. Burial to immediately follow in Nuremberg Cemetery.
