Brian R. Rich, Jr., 32, of Berwyn, formerly of Orwigsburg area, passed away Sunday, September 25th, at his home.Brian was born in Reading, PA on February 17, 1990, a son of Martha Mills Rich and companion Patrick Farrell, of Kempton, and Brian R. Rich Sr. and wife Valerie of Saucon Valley.
Brian was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School Class of 2008.
Brian was owner, manager, and visionary of Famous Reading Outdoors of Schuylkill and Northumberland Counties, the popular destination for ATV, dirt bike, UTV and mountain bike enthusiasts, and general manager of Lehigh Fuels, Whitehall, PA.
Brian is survived by his fiancée Steven I. Solis of Berwyn.
Also survived by a sister, Eleanor Rich Silvia, wife of Charles I. Silvia, of East Greenwich, RI; a brother, William, fiancée of Lauren Parisi, of Orwigsburg, a niece Clover D. Silvia, 3 step brothers Jack Stoffey, Brennan Farrell and Justin Ridge, and 2 step sisters Lauren Stoffey and Clare Farrell.
Brian was special to many people. He was a loving and generous fiancée, grandson, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend, and boss. He had a whip-smart sense of humor and loved making people laugh. He loved haircuts, shoes, football, the outdoors, FRO, adventure, his fiancée, family, friends, co-workers, and his country. He looked forward to his future business plans, his wedding, to becoming a dad, traveling, and to a long, happy, healthy, and laughter-filled life with his loved ones. Brian leaves a cherished and indelible mark on all our lives and we are forever changed by his passing. He would want us to remember him and to live our own lives with love, playfulness, and enthusiasm. No regerts.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 4th at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Pottsville, PA.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9 - 11 AM at St. Patrick's Church.

Internment is private at the convenience of the family.

Brian S. Galen, 50, of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday, September 27th, 2022.Brian was born in Pottsville, on December 18, 1971, a son of Sherwood Galen of Limerick and the late Bonita (Seigfried) Galen, and was a 1990 graduate of the Schuylkill Valley High School.
He last worked as a plumber for Kay Builders in Allentown. Brian was an all around handyman who used his skills of carpentry and plumbing to tinker around his house and help others. He enjoyed Harley's and trains, and was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan.
He is survived by his wife of the past ten years, Karen (Spotts) Galen.
He is survived by his father, Sherwood and his wife, Jeanne of Limerick, and by his children, Marc and his wife Tayler, of Frackville; Alyson Galen, of Cressona; and Ryan, Britney and Kaci, all at home.
A brother Darrin Galen, of Downingtown survives as does a grandson, Isaac, along with four nephews, Nathan, Andrew, Michael and Gregory.
A viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 from 10 AM until 12 Noon at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 515 West Market Street, Pottsville.

Betty L. Burke, 82, of Primrose, passed away Tuesday night at Lehigh Valley Hospital East in Pottsville. Arrangements will be announced by the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, Minersville.
