A woman was transported to the hospital early Friday after crashing into several parked cars in Ashland.
The incident happened just after 3:00am, Friday, when a woman driving a Chevrolet Spark was driving east on Centre Street in Ashland, crossed into the opposing lane, and crashed into 2 parked vehicles in the 600 Block.
The impact pushed both parked vehicles approximately 20 to 30 feet.
The woman was temporarily trapped in the vehicle until fire personnel arrived on scene. She was then transported via Washington Ambulance to an area hospital with unknown injuries as well as testing for possible DUI.
All three vehicles sustained disabling damage.
The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are investigating the crash.
Responding to the scene were the American Hose Company, Washington Rescue, Washington Ambulance, and Shenandoah Ambulance. Hoffman's Towing towed all 3 vehicles from the scene.
Centre Street was closed for approximately an hour and a half until the scene was clearing.
