It is a day to celebrate Father Ciszek's extraordinary faith in God and commitment to his priestly vows and vocation. The Father Walter Ciszek Prayer League Center, 218 West Cherry Street, Shenandoah, PA will receive visitors on October 16 from 10:30AM until 1:00PM. (A video of Father Catoir interviewing Father Ciszek will be shown.) Mass will be celebrated at 2:00PM at St. Casimir Church, 229 North Jardin St., Shenandoah, PA. Reverend Richard Malloy, SJ, Director of Mission and Ministry at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, will be the homilist.
Immediately following the Mass, refreshments will be served in St. Casimir Church Hall and Father Ciszek's books, brochures, prayer cards, and other items will be available for purchase. Please come to the celebration of "Father Ciszek Day--2022.

On October 1963, family and friends gathered in Shenandoah, PA to welcome Father Ciszek home after his release from Russia. The Father Walter Ciszek Prayer League continues this welcome-home tradition by gathering annually in mid-October to remember the life and legacy of Father Ciszek.
