A collection of crash reports from Schuylkill County law enforcement.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ASHLAND - This crash occurred around 3:15am, in the 600 Block of Centre Street in Ashland.

Troopers say Anna Ostrikov, 23, of Lebanon, was traveling eastbound when she traveled across the westbound lane and crashed head-on into a park Saturn Ion.  The impact pushed the Ion into a Ford F-150.

Ostrikov was transported to the hospital via Washington Ambulance for minor injuries.  She was also arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

RYAN TOWNSHIP - This crash occurred on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022, around 1:45pm on Interstate 81 northbound near mile marker 126.4.

Troopers say Ian Urbanski, 39, of Wilkes Barre was traveling northbound when he attempted to make a lane change from right to left, but lost control and spun his Chrysler 200 striking a concrete bridge rail.

No injuries were reported.

RYAN TOWNSHIP - This crash occurred on Saturday, October 1st, 2022, just before 1:00am on Mall Road.

Troopers say the driver of a Chevrolet Cruze was driving too fast for conditions and failed to negotiate a left-hand curve on the west roadway.  The vehicle left the roadway and struck an embankment causing minor damage to the front end.

The driver fled the scene prior to police arriving.

EAST NORWEGIAN TOWNSHIP - This crash occurred on Route 209 near the intersection with Ridge Road on Saturday, October 1st, 2022, around 2:20am.

Troopers say the crash occurred while Gabrielle Phelan, 19, of New Philadelphia was driving north on Route 299 and lost control on a left curve.  Her Pontiac Vibe exited the right side of the roadway, hit a connected metal guiderail causing damage to the front of her vehicle.

Phelan was not injured but a passenger, Jacquely Cortes, 22, of New Philadelphia was transported to the hospital via Schuylkill EMS to be evaluated for possible injuries.

FOSTER TOWNSHIP - This crash occurred on Wednesday, September 28th, 2022, around 2:40pm on Interstate 81 northbound near mile marker 112.4.

Troopers say Rhonda Snyder, 61, of Pine Grove told police she was driving north on the Interstate when another vehicle veered toward hers, causing her to seer left into the median.  Her Jeep Cherokee came to a stop in the median.
