FRACKVILLE - On Monday, October 10th, 2022, at approximately 10:58am, Frackville Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Main St. in Gilberton for a Motor Vehicle Accident.
Investigation revealed that Hope McManus, 35, of Mahanoy City was operating a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier and traveling south on Weeks St. in Gilberton.
McManus failed to obey a posted stop sign at the intersection with Main St. and entered the intersection, striking a 2017 Ford SUV, operated by Pamela Mroczka, 37, of Mahanoy City.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene by Steve’s Towing.
Gilberton Fire assisted with traffic control and no injuries were reported.
McManus will be cited for failing to obey the stop sign.

WAYNE TOWNSHIP - This crash occurred on Friday, October 14th, 2022, around 2:15pm on Route 183 near the intersection with Schwartz Valley Road
Troopers say the driver of a Subaru Forester was attempting to a make a left turn onto Schwartz Valley Road from Route 183 when he failed to yield to oncoming traffic. The driver struck the driver side door of a Chevrolet Equinox causing the Chevy to hit a guard rail.
Both vehicles sustained minor damage.
The driver of the Subaru will be cited for the crash. The identify was those involved in the crash was not reported by police.

PORT CLINTON - This crash occurred on Thursday, October 13th, 2022, around 4:11pm on Blue Mountain Road just east of Route 61.
Troopers say Storm Etherington, 20, of Pottsville was driving her Jeep Cherokee when she failed to negotiate a right curve in the roadway causing her vehicle to cross into the other lane and strike a guard rail.
Etherington will be cited for not driving her vehicle at a safe speed.

NORTH MANHEIM TOWNSHIP - This crash occurred on Sunday, October 9th, 2022, around 10:30pm on Route 61 northbound near Manheim Road.
Troopers say Aeden Hine, 18, of Schuylkill Haven was traveling northbound when he lost control of his Lexus ES350 causing him to spin out and strike a curb.
His vehicle traveled down and embankment and overturned coming to a stop on its roof.
Hine was not injured in the crash
