WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - This crash occurred on Friday, October 14th, 2022, around 6:40am on Route 443/Deturksville Road.
Troopers say Aidan Geist, 19, of Pine Grove, was driving westbound in Chevrolet Impala when he lost control, crossed both lanes, and struck a utility pole, and overturning in the air before coming to a rest in the middle of the road.
Geist was not injured in the crash, but extensive damage was done to his vehicle and multiple wires were knocked down.
Route 443 was closed between Dad Burnhams Road and Church Road for several hours while the scene was cleared, and PPL made repairs.
Geist was cited for the crash.

TREMONT TOWNSHIP - This crash occurred on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022, around 2:00pm on Route 209 at the intersection with Swatara Avenue.
Troopers say the Michael Walsh, 74, of Peckville, was driving his Harley Davidson Road King on Swatara Avenue and stopped at a stop sign at the intersection.
Walsh pulled out into the path of Robynn Melochick, 47, of Pottsville, driving a Ford F-150 XLT, who was driving east on Route 209.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage in the crash. Walsh was transported to an area hospital via Life Flight with unknown injuries. Melochick was transported by ambulance for minor injuries. A 1-year-old passenger in the F-150 was not injured.
Walsh was cited for the crash.

TOWER CITY - This crash occurred on Monday, October 17th, 2022, around 12:30pm on East Grand Avenue in Tower City.
Troopers say Kimberly Spolski, 42, of Tremont was driving east on East Grand Avenue in a Chevrolet Silverado while Scott Zimerofsky, 50, of Pottsville was driving west in a Freightliner 600.
Spolski reportedly traveled into the opposing lane and struck Zimerofsky's truck causing disabling damage to both vehicles.
Spolski was reported to have sustained minor injuries, Zimerofsky was not injured.
Spolski was cited for the crash.
