A Schuylkill County man is facing charges for selling methamphetamine in Minersville.
According to Minersville Patrolman Jeffrey Bowers, with assistance from the Pottsville Police Department, Mark Keeth Jr., 43, of Cumbola, was taken into custody on Wednesday at 319 West Market Street in Pottsville, after being wanted on drug charges by borough police.
Keeth was wanted on numerous charges after borough police had conducted 3 separate controlled buys in early October using undercover officers to purchase methamphetamine from Keeth.
Minersville Police charged Keeth with multiple charges of delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended license.
He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge David Plachko, Port Carbon, who set bail at $25,000 straight cash for each of the 3 incidents, with total bail set at $75,000 straight cash. He was then remanded to Schuylkill County Prison.
Additional charges are also pending from the Pottsville Police after Keeth, being a wanted felon, was found in possession of a firearm when he was taken into custody.
