Schuylkill County District Attorney Mike O'Pake has been speaking to area students about making the right decisions.
Since taking office, O'Pake has made it a point each year to meet with students to keep them informed about the consequences of decisions that they may make. Since school started, O'Pake has met with students from Blue Mountain and Shenandoah Valley, and this week, he made a stop at North Schuylkill.
On Tuesday, O'Pake met with 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students in Fountain Springs where he talked about the consequences of "sexting". Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli joined in to take part in the presentation.
Along with sexting, O'Pake and Tarantelli tied in the problem of cyberbullying and how once a photo is shared through text or social media, you know longer have control of who can view that photo.
