On Sunday, several community organizations came together in Ashland to decorate the borough's Christmas tree.
The 2022 Ashland Christmas Tree was donated by Hampton Family from their farm in Butler Township to Ashland Rotary.
With the help of Aaron Shuttleworth, of Ashland, C Crane and Rigging from Allentown, and TJW Towing, the tree was brought from the farm to the intersection of Centre Street and Hoffman Boulevard on Saturday.
With some work, the tree was up righted and ready for trimming.
On Sunday, the Rotary, with help from the Ashland Historical Society, American Legion, and Washington Hook and Ladder, the tree was decorated, and a star was placed on top.
The tree will be lit Thanksgiving weekend, but an official tree lighting will take place during the Rotary's Old Fashioned Christmas Event that will be held on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022.
