Born in Spaska, Ukraine on September 5, 1930, John was a son of the late Fyodor and Maria Kuschnir. Along with his immediate family, John immigrated to the United States, having fled the Ukraine upon Russia's invasion during World War II. After serving in the US Army from 1956 to 1958, he was employed as a crane operator, machinist and finally as a Security Guard at AT&T. A farmer’s son, he loved to tend the land and plant vegetables and appreciated the importance of land conservation. John raised and raced pigeons, winning many medals for his efforts. He took care of wild birds, with them often alighting on his outstretched hand. John was a loving father and proud grandfather to his two grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Olga, John is survived by daughter, Tatiana (Tania) Lyons and her husband Timothy of South Orange, NJ, and by his grandchildren, Natasha Olga Anne Lyons and Mikhail Theodore Lyons.
He was predeceased by a sister and by his brothers Peter and Victor.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 12, 2022, in St. Mary's Orthodox Church, First and Phillips Streets, Coaldale, PA with The Very Rev. James P. Weremedic officiating. Interment in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown, PA will follow the services. Call 10-10:30 AM Saturday in the church. Shirley E. Laurusevage, 87, of Frackville, passed away Monday November 7, 2022 at Broad Mountain Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.
Born in St. Clair, January 27, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Kaheres and Hermina Houstina Hahn.
She graduated from Frackville High School.
She worked at City Shirt and Modern Garment Factories and was Co- Owner of former Tony’s Bar in Frackville.
She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony “Tony “Laurusevage in 1993 and a son Gregory J. Laurusevage in 2021.
Surviving are son Mark Laurusevage Sr. and his wife Sherri of Hershey; Daughter-in-law AnnMarie Laurusevage of Frackville; brother John H. “Jack” Hahn of Columbia; 7 Grandchildren: Heather Kellagher of Mt. Carmel; Mark Laurusevage Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC; Jason Laurusevage of Frackville; Paul Laurusevage of Frackville; Danielle Duncan of Germanville; Amanda Laurusevage of Minersville; Alicia Laurusevage of Buck Run; 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday Nov. 12, 2022 from Nice- Hart Funeral Home, Inc, 9 North Lehigh Avenue Frackville PA 17931. The Rev. Jack Culbert will be officiating. Friends may call from 10:00AM – 11:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association 225 North Michigan Avenue Fl 17, Chicago, IL 60601. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Raymond V. Brennan Sr., 75, Liberty, formerly of Girardville, passed away on Monday, November 7th at UPMC Harrisburg.
Born in Ashland, he was a son of the ,ate Wesley and Sarah Green Brennan. He worked as a machine builder until his retirement.
Raymond was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Liberty VFW and American Legion. He was a longtime baseball coach for Deep Run Valley, Perkasie. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and belonged to the Liberty Township Sportsman’s Association.
In addion to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 9 siblings: James, Michael “Mickey”, John, Tom, Joe, Rich, Rennie, Sarah “Sis” and Betty.
Raymond is survived by his two sons: Raymond Brennan Jr. and his wife Donel, Perkasie; Brian Brennan and his wife Beth, Landisville; his brothers: Bob Brennan, Ashland and Vince Brennan, Frackville; his grandchildren: Kye, Cole, Rachel, Mia and Maggie; his great-grandchildren: Hannah, Harper and Harrison; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 10th at 11 a.m. from Saint Charles Borromeo Parish, Ashland with Rev. Brian Miller as the celebrant. Friends and family may call at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of mass. Interment with military honors will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Catherine M. Koch, 82, of Orwigsburg, passed away Saturday, November 5th, at Geisinger St. Luke's, Orwigsburg. Catherine was born in West Brunswick Township on November 26, 1939, a daughter of the late Eva (Strausser) and Benjamin Zettlemoyer.

She was the widow of Charles E. Koch.
She worked as a presser in textiles and worked as a home health aide.
Catherine is survived by a stepson,Charles Koch, husband of Margaret, her sister, Shirley Ogan and brother, Henry Zettlemoyer as well as numerous nieces and nephews and friends Kevin and Sally, Stephen and Joy.

A religious service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, November 12 at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home, Orwigsburg with Rev Preston Broadhurst officiating. The public is invited from 8:30 AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Zion's Red Church Cemetery, Orwigsburg.

Anna Mae Wingle, age 92, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Luther Ridge.

Anna Mae was the daughter of the late Ethel Meyer and Beck Camodeca. She was born February 3, 1930, in Pottsville. Anna graduated from Pottsville High School. She worked in the textile factories and then was mainly a mother and housewife.
She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Thomas and Richard Camodeca and sister-in-law Gail Camodeca as well as her niece, Crystal Camodeca. She was the widow of John H. Wingle to whom she was married 70 years and who passed away December 6, 2017.
She is survived by a daughter Donna Rosenberger, wife of Eugene, Schuylkill Haven, grandson Matthew and his wife Heather of Lititz; brother Douglas of Pottsville and niece Margaret Burns and nephew Douglas both of Pottsville. Also survived by sister-in-law and caretaker Kathleen Wingle and nieces and nephews.
As per her wishes, there will be no services and she will be buried at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Born on August 7, 1934, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret (nee Brennan) Smith. She attended Saint Clair schools, and she worked in the local garment industry.
She was a member and long-time sacristan at the former English Lutheran Church, Minersville. She was also a member of the ILGWU
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Fox, Sr., in 2001; two sisters, Betty Ann Sabol and Hannah Wassel; two brothers, Robert Smith and John Smith.
Margaret is survived by her son, Robert L. Fox, Jr. (spouse, Laurie), Seltzer; two grandsons, Michael Fox and Justin Fox. She is also survived by two sisters, Helen Frantz, Saint Clair, Anna Mae Frantz, Pottsville; nieces and nephews.
The family will accept visitors at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until services at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
Trina Marie Stoudt, 22; of Frackville, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022 as a result of her injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Schuylkill County.
Born December 26, 1999 in Reading, PA. Trina is the beloved daughter of Keith Stoudt and Tina Wagner. Trina is a graduate of North Schuylkill High School, class of 2018. Trina went on to attend Kutztown University, where she majored in Communications; with a minor in Economics.
Trina will be remembered for her love of people. She brightened everyone’s day and touched so many lives in a positive way. She was an aspiring model, social media influencer, and had a following that reached all across the country. She was employed at Compass Rose and the Pine Grove Diner.
Surviving are her parents, Keith Stoudt of Reading and Tina Wagner of Frackville; siblings, Trisha Wagner and Teigan Brokenshire; grandparents, Wendy Strupp, Theresa McFadden and Daniel Stoudt; an aunt, Tabitha Strupp; nephews, Jaq’sire and Xavion; cousins, Chey and Sage; lastly her beloved cat Mauvie.
Trina was preceded in death by her grandfather, Arthur Strupp, and uncle, Nathan Strupp.
Services for Trina will be held privately at the request of the family.
