A Shenandoah Heights man is facing charges after crashing into several vehicles and fleeing.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the incident began on Saturday, October 29th, 2022, around 1:15am on North Wyoming and Florida Avenue in Shenandoah Heights.
Troopers say while a driver was stopped at a stop sign on Florida Avenue, he was rearended by Timothy Wright, 22, of Shenandoah Heights.
Wright drove away from the scene fleeing on Virginia Avenue and struck a parked car, then fled again.
Troopers later found Wright's vehicle parked in front of his home, while he was asleep slumped over in the driver's seat with the engine running.
Police had to force their way into the vehicle, removing an intoxicated Wright from the vehicle.
He was taken into custody for DUI. State Police say they will be filing criminal charges on Wright.
