In a very physical game, North Schuylkill Boys defeated their neighbors to the north, Shenandoah Valley on Thursday evening.
Up until Thursday, the Blue Devils had been 2-4 on the season going into their game against Spartans who have been playing well with a 5-2 record.
From the tip off, both teams were very physical with North Schuylkill holding a slim lead throughout the game. At halftime, the Spartans only held a 9-point lead 31-20.
North Schuylkill would take advantage of Shenandoah Valley's turnovers to increase their lead.
The Spartans would win at home, 63-42.
