The driver of an SUV was transported to an area hospital after a rollover crash near Girardville, Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred just after 7:00am near the Girardville/Butler Township line on the east of Girardville on East Main Street.
An SUV was traveling west towards Girardville when he lost control spinning 180 degrees then hitting and embankment and rolling on its side.
Roads at the time were very slick in the area.
Firefighters arrived, secured the vehicle from rolling over further, and removed the driver from the vehicle.
The driver was transported by Washington Ambulance to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
Responding to the scene were the Girard Hose and Rangers Hose Fire Companies, Washington Ambulance, Shenandoah Ambulance, and police from Girardville, Butler Township, and Ashland.
