WAYNE TOWNSHIP - According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, this crash occurred on Wednesday, December 7th, 2022, around 5:30pm on Route 183.

Troopers say John Hurter, 48, of Leesport was traveling southbound in a Ford Transit when he struck a Subaru Forester driven by Nancy Wesner, 58, of Summit Station.  Wesner was slowing to enter a driving at the time of the crash.

Hurter side-swiped Wesner causing her vehicle to strike two concrete pillars and a guideline to a utility pole.

No injuries were reported.

Hurter was cited for driving too closely.

WAYNE TOWNSHIP - According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, this crash occurred on Tuesday, December 13th, 2022, around 5:30pm on Route 183.

Troopers say three vehicles were traveling northbound on Route 183 in the area of Meadowbrooke Drive when the crash occurred.

The first vehicle, driven by Abigail Benner, 32, of Lansford, and a second vehicle, driven by John Burke, 77, of Saint Clair, slowed due to stopped traffic, when the third vehicle, driven by Jody Heffner, 51, of Schuylkill Haven reared one of their vehicles and pushed that vehicle into the other.

Heffner, Benner, and a passenger of Benner's were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Heffner was cited for driving too closely.

NORTH MANHEIM TOWNSHIP - According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, this crash occurred on Sunday, December 11th, 2022, around 12:20am. 

Troopers say William Kirkwood, 27, of Bethel, PA was traveling north on the Gordon Nagle Trail in a Ford F150 when he struck an embankment and overturned onto the roadway.  Kirkwood was not injured but was arrested for DUI.
