Who needs to go watch a ball drop in New York City when you have two great New Year's Eve events right here in Schuylkill County!

POTTSVILLE - Pottsville will ring in the New Year with its annual raising of the Yuengling bottle.
The City's event will kick off at 11:30pm in Garfield Square on Saturday night, New Year's Eve, with live music.
Then at midnight, A large Yuengling Lager Bottle will rise to ring in the New Year at midnight. Mayor Dave Clews will be on-hand to raise the bottle.

TAMAQUA - Tamaqua will continue its annual tradition of lighting up the ABC Hi-Rise at midnight with Eagles.
As the countdown begins to ring in the new year, an eagle will be lit on each floor to the top of the building with a 2023 that will light up at the top.
