Frank was born in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania August 5th ,1936. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ida (Fanelli) Rowland.
Frank is survived by his loving wife and caregiver of 61 years: Mary Jane Whalen Rowland, children: Maureen L. Rowland Baltimore MD, Jacqueline Urban (Michael) New Ringgold, PA, Frank (Colleen Kopp) Rowland, Camp Hill, PA and one grandson Michael R Urban III Reading PA
He attended Bloomsburg University and McCann School of Business.
Frank had many special talents, he owned a hardware store, he was a sales representative for Kaiser Industry, sold church supplies, but is best known by friends for his culinary skills. He will be remembered as a kind, loving, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Frank was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus and a member of the Jaycees.
Arrangements will be made at a later date.

Alfred Vega, 60 years of age, of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale, Pennsylvania.
Born Sunday, August 26, 1962 in Bronx, New York, the son of the late Jose, and Margarita (Arroyo) Vega. Alfred was also predeceased by his brother Jose Vega Jr.; former mother-in-law, Connie Thompson
Surviving are; daughters, Connie Vega, and Candace Vega and her husband Jack; grandchildren, Naiara, Naheem, and Nyasia Wise - Vega; beloved partner; Tony Hall; dear friends, Katherine Serrano and her father Thomas E. Rockwell; Ex wife, Thelma Vega; god son, Kenneth Persise; niece, and nephew, Niece and Nephew , Esperanza and Michael Serrano.
A graduate of Evander Childs High School in the Bronx, Al retired as a bus driver from the New York Transit System. He enjoyed listening to music, and singing. Al was amatur Herpetologist., he had many snakes as pets.

Cindy L. Rhoades, 64, of Hershey, formerly of Tower City, passed away suddenly Thursday morning, December 29, 2022 at her home.
Cindy was born in Pottsville on March 15, 1958, a daughter of the late William Rhoades and Pauline Michaels Rhoades Hubler.
In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by three sisters, Sharon Hoover, Gloria Rhoades and Debra Hamlin.
Surviving are her five sisters, Geraldine Fair (Omar), Manheim; Pauline Hylton (Ralph),Tower City; Patsy Klouser (Kevin), Tower City; Karen Palmer, Orwin; Judy Noll (Lawrence), Harrisburg; one brother, William Rhoades (Lisa), Ariziona; nieces and nephews.
Cindy will be laid to rest privately in the Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City.
The Dimon Funeral Home is honored to serve the Rhoades family.
