Born in Pottsville on March 13, 1945, he was the son of the late Vera (Fidler) and Guy Boyer.
He was the widower of Betty (Schaeffer) Boyer.
After graduation at Schuylkill Haven High School, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard and worked at Penn Steel Hamburg for 25 years and Northeast Prestressed Products LLC in Cressona.
Dick attended Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven.
He adored his cats, Ping and Kit.
Dick is survived by a daughter, Yvonne, wife of Mark Nester, of Schuylkill Haven; grandchildren, Lydia, wife of Chase Minnich, of State College, and Julie Nester of Leola.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Leslie Ann McClain, son Sterling Boyer Jr, and brother Cliff Boyer.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 10th at Geschwindt Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc in Schuylkill Haven with Rev. Ted Rathman officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of services.
The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions to Grace Evangelical Church on Jefferson St. & Stoyer Drive Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.

Born Saturday, November 4, 1944 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the son of the late Raymond Franklin Derr, and Sophie ( Roskoski ) Derr- Davis.
Surviving are; his wife of 45 years, Diane E. (Kenesky) Derr; son, Michael Derr Jr., daughter, Denise R. Petrill and her companion Tony; grandchildren, Matthew Quinn and his wife Lizzy, Paul Petrill, Sarah Lindenmuth, Rylie Krapf and her fiancé Tommy Delp; brother, Ralph Derr; step brothers, Lenny Davis and his wife Sandy, James Davis. Nieces and nephews also survive Michael.
A 1962 Tamaqua High School graduate, Mike was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 542. Mike worked for E. J. Brenneman for many years, and retired from H&K Group Windsor Services where the crew referred to him as "pop".
There was not a dog that Mike didn't love; however, many will always remember Mike driving with his companion Holly by his side. Mike was devoted husband, father, grandfather and soon to be great grandfather.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday December 8, 2022 at 2 o'clock P.M. from St. John XXIII R.C.C. located at 307 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the funeral home.
Interment SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. Cemetery Owl Creek.

Grace was born in Tower City, August 26, 1936, a daughter of the late John and Anna Peters Welker. She was a 1954 graduate of the former Tower City High School.
Grace was a faithful homemaker and worked part time at the former Hawk's Drug Store.
She was a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, Tower City were she served on the alter guild and kitchen committee. She also taught Sunday school from several years. She was a former member of the Tower City Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary, and a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader. Grace volunteered for many years with the Tower City Library, where she served on the board. She was an avid reader and extremely skilled at knitting and crocheting. She enjoyed playing games on her computer and also spending summer weekends at their camp in Clarks Valley for many years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Joyce Blyler and Shirley Holden, and brother John Welker and his wife Ethel Welker.
Surviving are her devoted husband of 68 years, John "Jack" Keiter of Tower City; daughter Lori Malick (Randy) of Annville; sons Gary Keiter (Sue) of Muir and Michael Keiter (Ashley) of Reinerton; 5 grandchildren, Matt Malick (Janielle), Michael Malick (Erin), and Katherine, Calvin, and Koli Keiter; 2 step-grandchildren, Lisa Miller and Eric Hand (Jennifer); two great grandchildren, Henry and Mackenzie Malick; 4 step-great granddaughters, Kali and Kamryn Miller and Brooklyn and Olivia Hand; nieces and nephews.
Following Grace's wishes, funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Barbara was born on May 7,1950, in Pottsville, a daughter of the late Robert and Beatrice "Pepper" (Smolskis) Rumpf of Jonestown. Barbara was a 1968 graduate of Minersville Area High School. She worked in various garment factories and then at C.P. Lighting, Inc. She attended and graduated from the Schuylkill Technology Center's Culinary Program. Following graduation, she was employed at the Crazy Chameleon restaurant in Orwigsburg. Before retiring she worked at Uncle Cone's where she served the best breakfast in town. Barbara loved her family and friends dearly. She loved baking, gardening, hand-feeding peanuts to her chippys and traveling with her husband, Bill. A beautiful, loyal, kind soul gone too soon. Preceding her in death were her parents, her sister, Linda Rumpf, and her daughter, Sarah Purcell.
Surviving are her husband, the love of her life, William Nevils, two children, David Purcell, Jonestown, Amy Kanezo, wife of Keith, Seltzer, her grandchildren, Kenneth Purcell, Jacob and Joshua Kanezo, a sister, Lori Rumpf, a brother, Robert Rumpf, Jr., nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Barbara requested that no services be held. She never wanted a fuss made over her in life and did not want anyone to be sad when she passed. She is at peace now.
