Dennis A. Levan, 77, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday, December 8th, at Geisinger St. Lukes Hosptial, Orwigsburg.
Dennis was born in Pottsville, on September 2, 1945, a son of the late Irene (Schwartz) and Alvin Levan.
He was the husband of Louise Levan to whom he was married 55 years.
Preceded in death by his parents and a son in law Eric John Kiefer who died in 2002.
Dennis was a truck driver for 33 years at Northeast Prestressed Products Cressona.
Dennis is survived by two sons Dennis A. Jr, husband of Tammy Levan, John Levan, of Schuylkill Haven; daughter, Melissa, wife of John Novack Levan, of Schuylkill Haven
He is also survived by also surviving are 2 grandchildren Eric Kiefer and Dennis Levan and his wife Samantha, four great grandchildren Dennis Michael Levan, Mallory Lynn Levan, Aubrey Jo Levan and Emmett Reid Levan, and his beloved cats Bridgett, Louie, Matthew, Matilda, Lucy and Pearl
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 15th at Geschwindt Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc in Schuylkill Haven, with a viewing for family and friend from 9:30 to 10:30 am with Pastor Jim Fidler officiating.
The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions to Redcreek Wildlife Center 300 Moonhill Drive Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
Interment will be in Cressona Cemetery Cressona, PA.
