SCI-Frackville Corrections Officer Arrested for Soliciting Teen for Sex

A Luzerne County man, who is a corrections officer at SCI-Frackville in Schuylkill County, has been arrested for allegedly soliciting, who he thought was a teen online, for sex.

Fox56 reports that Joshua Allen Mackey, 47, of Mountain Top, was arrested and charged by Kingston Municipal Police, Tuesday morning after he was caught through an online sting by the Luzerne County Predator Catcher, Musa Harris.

Mackey allegedly sent sexually explicit messages and made arrangement to meet a 15-year-old girl, who was actually Harris.

Mackey sent numerous nude pictures of himself during the chat.

Mackey was arrested and charged with three counts of criminal attempt to commit unlawful contact with a minor and one count each of criminal solicitation to commit involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, criminal solicitation to commit statutory sexual assault and criminal use of communication facility.

After arraignment, Mackey was locked up in Luzerne County Prison on $25,000 straight cash bail.
