According to Cass Township Police, around 1:30pm, a 49-year-old male from Minersville was traveling Northwest on Highridge Park Road in a Gold Pontiac Sedan when he veered off the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver was treated by Minersville EMS at the scene.
He was also suspected of driving under in the influence and later taken to the hospital for a blood draw. Charges are pending test results.
