Matthew D. Dillman, 43, A resident of Ringtown, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at home, surrounded by his family and many close friends.Matt was born in Pottsville on July 5, 1979, the son of Anna (Letunic) Dillman of Frackville, and the late David Dillman.
He was a 1998 graduate of the North Schuylkill high school. He was a member of the United States Army, Pennsylvania National Guard, and graduated from Alvernia University with a BA in elementary education. He also received his Municipal Police Officer Training and Associate degree in Criminal Justice from Lackawanna College.
Matt was formerly employed as a police officer, working for the Mt. Carmel Police Department, being actively involved in community outreach he was instrumental in launching their community watch program. He was also a member of the Emergency Response Team. Matt was also employed by the Ashland Borough Police, the Hegins Township Police, and the Butler Township Police. During his tenure as a police officer, Matt received specialized training and was involved with the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force. He was currently working for the Schuylkill County Sheriff's Department, as a deputy sheriff.
Matt was a member and President of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge No. 25. He was also a member of the Lodge No. 737, F&AM, and the Forest No. 50, Tall Cedars of Lebanon. Matt enjoyed his home, spending time with his dogs and in his leisure time, fishing.
Matt is survived by his wife of 14 years, Brandy (Lawson) Dillman, their daughter, Kennedy, and their dogs Daisy and Lucky.
He is also survived by his sister, Paula Dillman-McGowan, with Neal, and her sons, Connor and Liam McGowan. Matt also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and a close family friend, Davina Corrigan, along with an extended group of law enforcement professionals, all of whom were like family to Matt.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service which will be held on Saturday, January 14th at 7 PM at St. Mary's Church, North Center Street in Ringtown. Visitation will be held from 4:30 until time of the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are asked to be made to Matt's daughters college education fund c/o Union National Bank, Mt. Carmel, PA, or by donating directly to his family.

Sarah "Sally" Blew, 79, of Pottsville, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning in her residence.
Born in Pottsville , on April 11, 1943 , she was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Bessie K. ( Moffit) Williams.
She attended Pottsville High School.
In her earlier years, Sarah worked at B&J Knitters and then was a clerk for the Schoeneman Corporation, Pottsville.
She enjoyed doing crafts, but most of all spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood L. "Red" Blew, on March 25, 2015, to whom she was married 53 years; sisters: Shirley Bradley and Grace Cody; brothers: Charles Jr., Donald , and Philip Williams.
Sarah is survived by two daughters, Denise A., wife of Andrew Pope, Sr., of Pottsville; Beth A. Blew, of Pottsville; grandchildren: Lauren E. Zimmerman, wife of Ryan, of Schuylkill Haven, Leslie A. Pope, of Allentown; Andrew R. Pope, Jr., husband of Michelle, of Houston, Texas; great grandchildren: Rylyn and Lena Zimmerman; sister, Audrey Hawk, of Pottsville; sister-in-law, Janice Blew, Barnesville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Florence “Flossie” Daniels Jarzynko, of Frackville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Feb. 1, 2020, at her home in Florida.
Born in Ashland, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Nancy (Leschick) Daniels.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Stanley Jarzynko formerly of Shenandoah.
She is survived by her beloved brother, Stanley, of Orwigsburg; her son, Robert Stanley Jarzynko Jr.; and daughter, Nancy Jarzynko. Florence was a devoted sister, mother, and friend to be forever missed.
Devine Liturgy will be held at 10:00 AM Thurs January 12, 2022, from St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church 1406 Main St, Gilberton, PA 17934. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Johns Ukrainian Catholic Church Memorial Fund 245 S. Middle St. Frackville, PA 17931. Burial will be in St. John Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Frackville.

Joan grew up in Astoria New York, enjoying the close community known as 44-14 Newtown Road. She met her childhood sweetheart Ralph here and they married on June 14, 1961 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Astoria New York. Joan and Ralph were married for 56 years before Ralph passed away in 2018. While living in Astoria, they built many life-long friendships that continued throughout their lives.
Ralph J. Cinelli, 74, of Minersville, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Ralph was born on December 19, 1943, in Philadelphia, the son of the late Francis Anthony Cinelli, the late Elizabeth Wychulis Victor Cinelli and the late stepmother, Gladys Cinelli.
As a child, Ralph moved to Astoria New York to live with his aunt Gussie Wychulis Fischer at 44-14 Newtown Road where he and Joan (his “Lady Luck”) met and married.
Ralph was an Army Veteran, having served from 1961 to 1964. After marrying, Joan accompanied Ralph to La Rochelle, France where he was stationed with the Third Army for almost 2 years. While in France, he worked as military police investigating motor vehicle accidents. Ralph enjoyed his time serving in the Army overseas and while there, both enjoyed assisting with local orphans; Joan also spent much of her time on the military base in the craft hall.
After leaving the Army, Ralph worked as a printing pressman in NYC and as an electrician in commercial construction in PA, before retiring in 2016. Ralph was known for having a heart of gold and his love for giving to others in need.
Joan and Ralph moved to Minersville to care for Ralph’s aunt Gussie. Prior to their move, they were members of the Church of St. Mel, Whitestone, New York. While residing in Minersville, Joan was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church before its closing.
Joan and Ralph were beloved parents and grandparents who adored their children and grandchildren unconditionally. They spent a great deal of time devoted to helping raise their grandchildren. Ralph enjoyed teaching their grandchildren card games and attending their sporting events. Joan always had a homemade meal or baked good for them to enjoy. Joan and Ralph also loved their many pets, dogs, cats, and birds and are greatly missed by their remaining cats, Bella and Panda.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Ralph in 2018 and her adored brother Francis (Frank) Jacovina in 2001 and sister-in-law and friend Elizabeth Jacovina, in 2015.
Joan and Ralph are survived by their two children, Christopher Cinelli, Wayne, West Virginia and Jennifer Cinelli (companion David Young Jr.) Llewellyn, and three grandchildren, Bryan Knarr-Cinelli (Minersville), Allyson and Adilynn Young (Llewellyn). Joan is also survived by niece Sharon Pentony and husband (John), Maspeth New York and nephew Joseph Jacovina (wife Esther), Jackson Heights New York. Ralph is survived by his brother Francis Cinelli (wife Marilee), Georgia and nieces Ann and Elaine Cinelli, Florida.
Both Joan and Ralph are survived by Joan’s dear best life-long best friend Lisa Adams (husband Stan), Summerville, South Carolina, and their daughters Jamie Turriago, Johns Island, South Carolina and Lauren O'Hara (husband Keith) Haverstraw, New York, and life-long friend Lester Moroney of Lincoln, California.
Joan and Ralph will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved them, creating a void that can never be filled.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joan and Ralph's memory to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA located in Pine Grove, PA, 18 Wertz Dr., Pine Grove, PA, 17963. Born in Hegins Twp., January 17, 1943, a son of the late Raymond and Violet Savidge Reiner.
Terry was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a retired fuel manager at Rausch Creek Power Plant. He was also a coal miner and truck driver for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda K. Long Reiner; a daughter, Jennifer Fox (Kirk), Millmont; a grandson, Garrett Fox, Millersburg; a sister, Karen Matter (Gene), Florida; two brothers, Larry Reiner (Rose) and William Reiner (Kay), both of Tower City; nieces and nephews.
Following Terry's wishes he will be laid to rest privately with military honors in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

He was born on Wednesday, November 30, 1938, in Beurys Grove, a son of the late Cleaton L Kehler and the late Gertrude E (Hornberger) Kehler.
He was a 1956 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School and a graduate of New York Culinary School, Brooklyn NY.
Ray was the executive chef at the former Treadway Inn, Lebanon, until his retirement.
He was a member of Calvary Chapel, Valley View.
Ray enjoyed cooking, ceramics, and loved to spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by two sisters, Esther G Baum and Betty G Geiser, and a brother, Wesley T Kehler.
He is survived by a sister, Carol A Hoy of Valley View; a brother, Junior C Kehler of Kulpmont; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc, Valley View, on Monday, January 16, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Rev Jonathan Hikes officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Pitman.

Born on September 4th, 1942, he was the son of the late Robert and Elizabeth St. Clair.
Ace worked many years as a general laborer for the Shenandoah Rag Company. He loved playing the game solitaire.
Besides his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Constance (Randis) St. Clair in 2012, and 1 sister, Margaret.
Surviving family include 2 daughters, Constance Wolfe with her husband Brad – Frackville and Janet Teter with her husband Kirby – Shenandoah Heights. Vincent Eroh who was like a son to Robert, 4 grandchildren – Kyle, Zachary, Kaiden, and Emma, 3 great-grandchildren – Berkley, Oakley, and Annalia, and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12pm to 2pm on Sunday, January 15th at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah. Burial will take place the following morning, January 16th at 10am in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Mahanoy City.
