One person was transported after a serious crash in East Union Township early Sunday.
The crash occurred just after 2:30am on Main Boulevard/Route 924 near Sheppton and involved vehicle that struck a tree, heavily entrapping the driver.
Sheppton Fire and the West End Fire and Rescue from Mahanoy City responded to the scene.
The victim was extricated from the vehicle and transported to an area hospital in Luzerne County.
